It's pretty simple, it's a game based on the 7 Years War. It's not a war game by any means, but it's more of a mini games type of game, where you play short minigames to symbolize specific battles of the 7 Years War. Controls aren't too complex. Movement is WASD (W -Forward, S - Backward, A - Rotate Left, D - Rotate Right) Or it's clicking with your mouse, the instructions are in the minigame.
Made by me and DW (Not typing names due to this being a public program), inspired by the Seven Years War. THE BATTLES: British + Allies: (June 23rd, 1757) Battle of Plassey: A small British force would have been lead against a massive French force. Thanks to strategic planning and alliances, the British came out on top. This led to them gaining control of a large part of India and Bengal. (The minigame is like a tightrope, how the British basically threaded the needle against the French.) (November 5th, 1757) Battle of Rossbach: Mostly lead by Prussia, they would be outnumbered but thanks to Prussia's quick combat style, they would come out victorious. This battle showed off Prussia’s military dominance, and helped foster nationalism into Germany. (The minigame is like rushing a held spot. Showing the quick style of Prussia’s combat style, and it shows how powerful Prussia was.) (September 13th, 1759) Battle of Quebec: Huge turning point in the war, at least in North America. This battle was short, but had high amounts of casualties. This battle gave British control over Quebec, this battle helped develop modern day Canada, and also would help establish Britain within North America. (The minigame shows the quickness, but also effectiveness of British troops.) (August 1st, 1759) Battle of Minden: This battle was a strong defense by both British and German troops. This showed the power of holding a fort in a war, and having a disciplined infantry. It also gave Prussia a safer border. (The minigame has you defend a fort from attack. This replicates the way the British held a point against French attackers.) France + Allies: (August 10-14, 1757) Battle of Fort Oswego: This battle happened in New York and led to the French gaining a large amount of the Great Lakes region. This battle also saw the alliance of Native Americans and French troops. This battle helped keep British control off of Lake Ontario. (The minigame has you destroy a fort, referencing to the fact that French troops attacked and took over this fort.) (July 8th, 1758) Battle of Carillon: Also, a part of the French - Indian war. This battle showed the superiority of holding a fort, again. The French were heavily outnumbered but held their own. This caused multiple British casualties. This battle was one of the bloodiest battles in the French-Indian War. (This minigame has you hold your ground in a fort, similar to the Battle of Minden) (June 18th, 1757) Battle of Kolín: This battle was with Austria and Prussia's army, in which Austria came out on top, despite Prussia’s military dominance. Austria used heavy strategy to at least slow down Prussian's charge into Bohemia, and the Siege on Prague. (The mini game is similar to the Battle of Rossbach but is harder due to Austria's militarist disadvantage.) (October 10th, 1758) Battle of Lutterberg: This battle was France versus Germany. This battle wasn't too special, but it was a big victory against the Germans, pushing them out of Western Germany. It also proved the importance of using terrain and surroundings in combat. (The minigame is QTE, like the Battle of Quebec. This is because the German's were heavily outnumbered and often suffered from constant charges of French cavalry.) Overall, this battle was huge, and technically the first World War. This war left France in a horrible condition, and place Great Britain as a global superpower. As this war took place over almost the entire world. The dots on the map with on the screen are almost accurate spots to where these battles take place. Thank you for playing, and I hope you somewhat enjoy!
