filler post my salmon run ocs are back!!!!!!! they were first introduced here https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1064777986/ did I ever give them a proper introduction??? idk I know I have on other places but here im not really sure The red-hair octoling is named Mikan, the black-hair inkling is named Calypso you mightve seen Calypso in like another project with a magazine art piece, I did introduce him there although the info is slightly outdated The entire reason why they were made was because I needed two ocs to represent salmon run. Mikan is supposed to represent the weird joyful feeling you get during a shift, when youre taking out salmonids left and right and having no problem filling up the quota like its GREAT Calypso is supposed to represent the feeling you get when youre swarmed by salmonids, there is ten seconds left on the clock and your quota isn't even halfway full, and your teammates are dying constantly or glowflies. glowflies is insanely stressful at times so as a result, Mikan's the more enegetic, reckless one and Calypso is the more careful, anxious one Mikan works there for the fun of it, Calypso worked there originally to support his family but he no longer is in contact with them and instead works there because he really doesnt have anything else or anywhere to go they work shifts together sometimes but also spend a lot of time promoting Grizzco as if it's some sort of really fun and really easy way to make money. they need new recruits they dont exactly live in inkopolis or splatsville, they live in another city which I might talk about one day but yeah they manage grizzco related stuff over there I love them!!! they are very awesome
