Instructions

I made my way to the Hermes Cabin first, as I figured I could find Amelia, Mason, and Kali somewhere over there. Amelia and Mason were my first choices after Juliette, who I am certain she would try to murder one of the gods if I told her, so she was a no-go. I decided that I would circle back around to Amelia and Mason, they probably wouldn’t be to hard to find, so I headed into the Hermes cabin. The first person I decided to ask was Kali, better to get her out the way first. Kali wasn’t hard to find, and I decided it would be better to just ask, to avoid as much awkwardness as possible. I walked up to Kali and said “Hey, I need to ask you something, something important” she gave me an annoyed glance before asking “what” “I would like you to go on a quest with me, and before you get mad, Chiron told me to ask you.” “Why” “a camper is missing, her name is Gloria, I think” Kali ponded for a moment, before saying “I get to help save my best friend, so I’ll do it. “Ok then, head to the big house after dinner then, to discuss the quest.” Kali nodded, and I walked off to find the next person. I then started to look for Natalie, she was a great fighter so I figured she would be good to have. I found her and approached, with a small wave, before saying “Hey, um I received a quest and wondered if you would maybe join?” Natalie looked a little shocked before saying, “oh ok, sure” “meet at the big house after dinner then” and that was the end of our exchange. The next camper I wanted to ask was Avery, she was a new camper, from Australia I think. I found her at the lake, throwing rocks into the water, and a couple of angry Naiads making rude gestures. “Hi” I said, trying to sound upbeat, “What do you want” was the reply I got. “ I got a quest and wondered if you would go, you seem like a pretty good fighter, and you have nerve.” “Sure, it beats sitting around for half the day”, Avery seemed pretty cool, even if she was a bit blunt, “meet at the big house after dinner then.” “Bye”. Now it was time to ask Amelia and Mason, I was nervous. Mason and Amelia were sitting on a bench chatting, “Hey guys, you don’t mind if I but in, do you?” “Nope” “ I have something I want to ask you guys, but it’s a little insane” “what is it?” Amelia automatically asked “ I received a quest earlier today, and I wondered if you guys would come with me?” “Sure it sounds fun, and what could go wrong” Amelia said, Mason shot her a worried glance, and I felt bad for her, she really didn’t know what quests were like. “I’ll go as well, someone’s got to keep y’all from dying” Mason gave a halfhearted smile, but I could tell he was worried. “Meet at the big house after dinner then, so we can discuss the quest, along with Chiron” I got a couple of thumbs up, and that was that.
