He adores the stage – at least, his puppetry being at the front and centre of it. 【 II. PERSONALITY 】 Positive traits: + Naoko is genuinely very passionate about his craft. He loves his work and wants to make sure everyone else /also/ loves his work! His passion drives him to perform perfection. + Naoko's pretty talkative and energetic! (even if he mostly prefers to talk about himself…) Negative traits: - Naoko definitely seems to be… quite /obnoxious/ when you first meet him, especially in first impressions. The way he acts can be quite grating and annoying and, well, generally unlikeable! Much to his utter dismay, of course. - Naoko's unrealistic overconfidence is honestly a root cause for a lot of his negative traits. - Of course, his ego is built upon a shakier foundation than he presents himself to be. Naoko constantly seeks out compliments and attention, even to the detriment of his own likeability. - Naoko is very easy to annoy and wind up. It doesn't take much for him to start pouting and snapping all over the place. Personality description: Often introducing himself as the /Great and Wonderful Perfection, Naoko Pearce☆/, the first thing that one would notice about him is just how loud he is, especially when he's talking about himself – and his status of ‘perfection’ that he seems to be obsessed with. He seems to be convinced – and is determined to convince others – that he is utterly perfect in every way. Extroverted and talkative, he speaks with great enthusiasm about himself and his own achievements and his own talent and his own /everything/ – revealing his unfortunately obvious egoism. Naoko's constant self-centric topics of conversations and incessant comparisons between him and others generally come across as rude and obnoxious. Even in interactions where saying such things are unnecessary, this puppeteer constantly feels the need to justify /just how great he sooooo is/, often with rather childish insistence. Since Naoko sees being "perfect" as such a significant trait in order to be liked or appreciated, he’s utterly determined to make sure that others are always aware of his "perfection" and talent. Because it's so fundamental to him, Naoko gets easily upset and irritated if his self-proclaimed pedestal of perfection is contradicted or denied. His self-inflated pedestal is very fragile and so is his temper. Naoko's fixation on being seen as ‘perfect’ seeps into almost every aspect of him as a person; from the way he gets so easily upset over not being seen as ‘perfect’ by others, to the way he desperately and sometimes pathetically wants people to notice him, to the way a constant aura of pretentious haughtiness surrounds him. He /wants/ to be better than everyone else and thus to be seen as such. PUBLIC INFO 】 Notoriety: Naoko's generally known within his area and theatrical niche of puppetry, but not as much as he wishes he were outside of it. He’s known, particularly in his area, for his puppeteering as well as the puppetry that he crafts himself, as well as due to his status as an Ultimate. Public Background: As a puppeteer, Naoko has quite a bit of work behind him that he’s known for. He’s worked in puppetry for a few theatrical productions.
