Google just started pushing out the AI Overview feature to non logged in users, so I tried it by searching this, needless to say, this is completely wrong, it's sources were a modded course showcase, AND A FAKE MK9 TRAILER WITH AN AI GENERATED VOICE OVER. Genuinely, AI was supposed to be used to make simple, boring, and repetitive tasks automatic so we can do the fun stuff, but it's just being used to pump out utter SLOP, and pollute every single tech product ever made, like NO, Microsoft, I will NOT use Copilot. EVER. It also steals from artists, and actual creative people, just to create literal garbage. One thing I see from AI bros is the "ohhhh but AI is so much quicker and easier!" argument, which is completely paper thin. Art isn't supposed to be quick, easy, and as efficient as possible, you're supposed to take your time, in order to create something that is truly yours, something that you put your heart, soul, effort, blood, sweat, tears, you name it, into. same thing goes with writing, and animation, anything that AI Slop is trying to touch. AI has no soul, or love, or effort. It doesn't feel fulfilling to look at a ChatGPT window, and look at the thing it generated, you have no attachment to the "art" it generated, unlike something you would make yourself, by hand. It's also not hard either. Oh, boo, hoo, you have to type words into a program. Come back to me once you've picked up a pencil and learned lighting, shading, proportions, and color coordination. Not to mention how much better, and consistent human art looks, no matter how good or experienced you are at art, you will ALWAYS be better than AI in my eyes. Yes, I might have turned a "funny haha "look! it got something wrong!"" kind of project into a serious, honest dump of my thoughts about AI, but seriously, if you want to get into art, please try.
