"Come on, sis?! Just one. PLEASE?" Alex annoyed me as we walked by the murky banks. "No, and if you keep asking, I will hurt you. Badly." I replied calmly. But I wasn't. Oh, I wanted to push him into the Phlegethon so badly. Then pull him out and sprinkle salt on him. Yes, I am very evil, now shut up about it. I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head. I stifled a groan and held my head as the headache came back. The stronger Brook got, the weaker /I/ got. Flashing images of our parents disappearing, recent deaths, and other goreful images entered my mind. When it passed, it left an annoying ringing sound in my ears. I got up using what looked like a tree a saw my brother smiling. "What?" I snapped at him, kicking him in the gut. He blocked my kick easily. "Can't I smile once in a while?" He started walking forward while whistling. "If you want to come with me, you can't, and stop whistling, you sound like a bird with a broken neck." I jogged a bit to catch up to him. He stared at me, a confused look painted on his face. "But-" He started. "Exactly." He was going to say something, but I waved him off by walking again. A smile almost crept onto my face, but shook it off when I remembered my life. Poor me.. I look around from our spot in the "tree." Finally, I spotted Brook, Isabella, and Candice. I had stopped calling Isabella "Izzy," even though I was the first to call her that. Rage built up inside me. It should be /me/ out there, having fun, even in the underworld. Without thinking I threw a knife straight at Isabella. Brooklyn caught it with ease and looked to where it had come from; she looked straight at me. I smiled, a small smile, for the first time in years, as fear crept onto her face she ushered Isabella back toward their camp. She started to help Candice come with her as Brooklyn stared at me for a while ripping off her pendant, and when they were far enough drew and shot an arrow at me. I held up my hand so it stopped mid-flight. Her eyes widened as she realized it was actually me. "Bye sis." I said, smiling evilly at her. I curled my hands into a fist so the arrow crumbled, and she slowly lowered her bow. Then I jumped toward the ground, chuckling as she stumbled backwards, but never reached the ground. I disappeared into the darkness traveling wherever the shadows took me. (And no, I didn't forget Alex, I just "teleported" him to me.)
