About this project: For my Understanding the Natural World project, I decided to make an interactive Scratch project about the Swiss alps, and the layers of the alps. Walk up the mountain and discover the creatures that thrive there, while interacting with them and learning fascinating fun facts. Instructions: Press the arrow keys to move, and the up arrow to jump. When you approach an animal and a dialogue appears, stop and read the information, because you will be quizzed on it later. Warning: On level two, exit quickly after the dialogue, because the marmot will respawn and cause glitches throughout the program.
I used PixilArt to draw images of the animals, and used references from safari. https://pngtree.com/freepng/marmot-full-body_13524817.html https://animalia.bio/chamois https://www.istockphoto.com/photos/red-deer https://abcbirds.org/bird/golden-eagle/ https://www.slf.ch/en/news/forest-report-2025-swiss-forests-under-pressure-to-adapt/ was unable to find the final photo link unfortunately sorry!
