(click keys 1-8 in order to hear stuff) been a while, hasnt it. since the last guitar stuff project, i would say ive gotten a good bit better, and have also made some more stuff that i would like to share. please regard all mistakes, and enjoy :] #'s 1-4 "The Named Songs" 1-2: "Costa Rica" okay, this is a fun one. i actually came up with the idea for this song at a baseball game of all places. which is crazy, judging that this is a very tropical esc song. i inevitably came up with the lyrics (which i am still working on) and the riff of the chorus at the game, while the chords were made after the riff was. i think this has a lot of promise, it just needs to be worked on some more. 3: "Far Away" theres no special backstory to how i made this song, just me in my bedroom. but this is a special song. its a song that might have lyrics, they just need to be worked around a little. this song is meant to attempt to explain the pain and confusion of these romantic feelings towards a person in your life, but they just feel, untouchable. the lyrics arent in the recording here, but i might post them once the song is in a better state "but even that thought of you seems, so far, away" 4: "The Losing Song" this song is a song about losing, duh. while it is instrumental, it is meant to portray that feeling of, well, loss. whether that be loss of a friend, family member, self, or much more, its attempted to capture that feeling and put it into a more emotional state of a guitar song. does that make any sense ?
#'s 5-8 "The Unnamed Songs" 5: "unnamed song 1" this is a song that will inevitably be about loneliness, like a sequel to far away, but knowing that the person you had those feelings for will never say yes, and just feeling so alone afterwards, while everyone else around you is with someone. its just a overwhelming sense of being alone and left out. 6: "unnamed song 2" this is a song of wonder its like looking up at a tree for the first time in a long time and just slowing down for once, taking in everything around you, and just remembering why its there. if that makes any sense to you. 7: "unnamed song 3" this doesnt truly have a meaning behind it, its really just me messing around on my guitar :p 8: "Unnamed Waltz" hence the name, this is a waltz. if you dont know what that is, google it. this is a song to dance to with someone, whether that is your parents, siblings (if you arent annoyed by them too much), or a special someone, all are welcome. just take some time with the person you love before you or them is gone. i try my best to get these out to yall decently frequently, but itll be a little bit longer at the moment, due to me newly being a worship leader at my local youth group. overall, thanks for the little bit of support, it truly does mean a lot. much love. -unused
