The backdrop can be changed by starting the project again. Press space to use it as a proper reaction filter. Click to drop. If you are recording it, please link the project somewhere so other people can farm clout too. To fit the recording, just record normal 16:9 ratio video. (not what scratch uses). Line up the top and bottom with those parts of the window in fullscreen mode. Finally, use a software that forces the recording to be 9:16 for phones. Most software like OBS has snapping to make the recording centered when you zoom it in enough.
