Instructions

First installation of lore. Basic world building in this post, but there's also a little bit of a secret in the drawing if you can find it >:)). GL and enjoy reading + the picture TvT Its early morning and you decide to rise from your nest in your sleeping cave. As you shift to standing, the crystals surrounding you in the cave shimmer in different hues, glinting in different direction due to the change in light. You tidy your nest up and exit the cave to the tunnel. There are other Crysteons walking back and forth, and you nod quiet hellos to them, careful not to disturb your slumbering companions. As you exit the tunnel, you come to a massive room, filled with golden lights, and listen to the soft murmur in the background. This would be the library. There are few Crysteons in here, as it is so early and many are likely eating breakfast or still asleep. You question yourself for a moment, then decide it would be best to check out a book before eating. So you browse your library's entirely Crysteon written collection, specifically fiction, and settle on a book of mystery. Content with your selection, you make your way over to the front desk, to check out your book. You approach the quizzical librarian, who's name is Chrysocolla. As you hand the book over to them, you wonder if you have ever seen them any where other than this desk. Never once had you ran into them in the Food Hall or Sleeping Quarters. While you puzzle over this conundrum, Chrysocolla stares at you, waiting for you to take the book you've just checked out. Their intense gaze snaps you back to reality, and you thank them for their assistance, and continue on your way. By now, your stomach is grumbling, and you've realized just how hungry you are. Upon this realization, you make your way to the Food Hall, which is now bustling. A large stretch of counters is upon the back wall, where kitchen Crysteons are passing out food to others who walk past, selecting items from the variety of choices. You find yourself a spot in line and wait patiently as it slowly advances. Finally, when it is your turn, you survey the option available. Formidable for your sweet tooth, you immediately ask for a fruit salad, passing over the questionable meat, with a small helping of crystal dust on the side, for added nutrients. You then take a bottled water, brought in just yesterday night from the nearest lake. Finally settled into your spot, you sprinkle your crystal dust over your salad, and begin to eat, while pleasantly enjoying your new book. After a while, when you've mostly finished your meal and set down your book, you realize a Crysteon is approaching you. You clearly recognize them as your friend, Amethyst, with her striking dark and gold crystals, and matching earrings. You wave a warm hello. "Hi! How are you today?" She asks. You reply with a simple, "good, and you?" Amethyst settles herself down across from you, with an empty plate. "Just fine. Thanks for asking. But I do have this scrape on my leg I got a few days ago, and it looks strange. I was wondering if someone would come with me to the clinic, to see the witch." "Of course." You reply to your friend. You both rise from the table, return your trays, and make your way to the clinic. Do you guys like the 2nd person perspective???
