[The following content contains potential spoilers on MissionEnt and/or RE_fix lore. Please proceed with caution.] Yes, there is no thumbnail. It's 11PM, give me a break. I'll probably add one sometime in the next week or so. ... In fact, I didn't even think I'd be posting at all today. That was until I came across the newest project from @MissionEnt on my "What's Happening" feed, and that brings us to the focus of today. No, not the announcement of Ena's break (Although we all do agree she very much deserves one), but the last point before she signed off the update. (And for reference- I'm calling them "updates" since that's the way it's been engraved in my mind since June of 2023. You're welcome.) If you look inside the project, inside the first sprite, you'll see a comment that reads: ╔══════════════╗ the takeover begins now. the first mission has been infiltrated. further results are shown later. ╚══════════════╝ Now, I haven't gotten much into RE_fix lore, (although I've come across evidence that suggests I most probably should), but I'm fairly certain the "first mission" mentioned here would refer to their debut EP, titled 'First Mission'. With a quick readthrough of their lore summary, the "first mission" being "infiltrated" could possibly mean the girls' debut with 'First Mission' being a threat to the AI attacks, and that they're set to continue their takeover against RE_fix and the rest of the world. Alternatively, this could be taken in reverse, with RE_fix's debut as an attempt to put the world at peace intercepted by the AI forces, now being shown as a system report of sorts. ...There's also a third theory at the back of my head which I cannot put it into words. At least not at this hour, I'd assume. I'll share that one if and when it comes to fruition.
