Bearkit ֍ AMAB ֍ 11 inches when fully grown ֍ Research required: Polydactyly and partial deafness (in their right ear) ֍ Dark dark brown kit with both lighter and darker dappled patterns, bright blue eyes ֍ Named after Beehum's father ⊱──────────⋆⋅♡⋅⋆──────────⊰ ❮❯ Application Form ~❁~ I am applying for Bearkit (the little bear cub ;P)) ~❀~ Bearkit's negative traits are that he is moody, arrogant and noisy but his positive traits are that he is strong-willed, compassionate and loving. His neutral traits are that he's ambitious, a chatterbox and very self-concious. ~❁~ Bearkit identifies as a tom, (he/him), until early warriorhood when he starts to feel like male doesn't suit him, and neither does female, so he changes to non-binary, (they/them). ~❀~ Bearkit has never, (and will never), feel any attractions for cats that are not female so he decides he is straight. ~❁~ Roleplay with him, I'd like for him to be like the foundation for his family and freinds, always there to support them and help them through thick or thin. He's going to be like a big, comforting teddy bear! xP ~❁~ Not in this one, (yet), but I am hoping to get Dianthuskit or Bearkit. I have a character in the SapphireClan RP called Ivoryshine who is complete adores. ~❀~ Research: Feline polydactyly is a congenital condition characterized by the presence of extra toes or digits. It is one of the most common birth defects affecting the paws, and it can occur due to genetic mutations, often involving the Hoxa or Hoxd gene clusters. While polydactyly can be inherited, it may not always require treatment if it does not affect the individual's functionality. Partial deafness, also known as partial hearing loss, refers to a reduction in the ability to detect sounds fully, distinguishing it from complete deafness. Individuals with partial deafness may struggle to hear certain frequencies or sounds, which can affect communication and daily activities. Common signs include difficulty understanding speech, especially in noisy environments. Causes can vary widely, including age-related changes, exposure to loud noises, or medical conditions. Early detection and intervention are crucial for managing partial deafness effectively. ~❁~ I am active, (at the very least), once or twice a week. But I am usually always active 5 days a week. ~❀~ Bearkit's nicknames are: Bearcub/Bear/Beary/(Little)Cub/Teddy Bearkit's life goal: To be Deputy one day! He is confident he can support his Leader and his clan! ~❁~ "How come the sun only ever sets in the west? Doesn't it want to do something different for once?" - Future quote from Bearkit? ⊱──────────⋆⋅♡⋅⋆──────────⊰
Bearkit's extra toe on his back left paw doesn't really affect him but it does make him a bit clumsier with that foot, the extra toe causes him to trip more and annoys him. If he could, he would get it removed. His partial deafness in his right ear makes it hard for him to hear certain soft/high sounds from that ear, like if someone whispers into his right ear he wouldn't understand or if someone is sneaking up really quietly on his right side he wouldn't hear them coming.
