A Random Something - by @4eva_niya It started with a feather's fall, No warning, no intent at all— A spiral drift through quiet air, As if the sky had thoughts to share. A pebble skipped across a stream, Disturbing someone else’s dream. A whistle from a kettle cried, And shadows danced, then quickly died. A paper note without a name Blew past a bench mid-morning game. It said, “You’re seen,” and nothing more— Left trembling near the candy store. A dog barked twice, then chased a cloud. A song played low, then grew too loud. A girl with glitter on her face Wrote poems in a parking space. A boy with socks that didn’t match Drew galaxies in sidewalk scratch. A breeze flew by in no real rush, Then disappeared behind a hush. And that was it—a something small, A moment that meant none at all. Or maybe meant the world instead— A random something softly said.
I just decided I wanted to write a poem I guess
