1. Gracie and I caught Pixie and Brownie from the paddock, speaking of which somehow Brownie managed to jump from the stallions and geldings' paddock to the mares and foals paddock, so I'm hoping we don't get an accidental foal season. 2-3. Gracie decided to take Pixie while I took Brownie, and we tacked them up. 4-5. I gave Gracie a leg up and then mounted Brownie. 6-7. We went across the neighboring paddock to the hack trail. 8-10. We reached the gallop hill. Pixie got a bit excited and took off towards the top, but thankfully Gracie managed to hold on and stop Pixie. Brownie was a perfect boy, he stopped and waited for Pixie and Gracie when they took off, and we calmly cantered up the hill as not to get Pixie into a more mischievous mood than she already was in. Gracie was able to calm Pixie down with pats and hugs. 11. We went back across another paddock on the way home. Pixie wasn't as energetic now and seemed pretty chill, while Brownie went along happily. 12-14. We got back to the outdoor arena and dismounted, and then walked back to the stalls. 15-16. We untacked Pixie and Brownie. 17. We let Pixie and Brownie go in the paddock.
