Hello! I'll try to keep this brief, so as not to waste your time, if anybody's actually reading this, haha. TABLE OF CONTENTS: 1. What's a hiatus 2. Why? 3. How this will work/what this means for YOU SECTION 1: "WHAT'S A HIATUS?" / DISCLAIMER. A hiatus is basically a break. It does NOT mean I am quitting Scratch! I just won't be back on for a while. A few months, actually. Don't freak out or anything, please! As we'll see in the next section, this isn't for bad reasons- I'm not taking a break due to mental health issues or anything! Haha, just thought I should clear that up before people start asking "Where did you go?" "Did you quit Scratch?" "What's a hiatus?" "Are you OK?" :') SECTION 2: "WHY?" Why am I taking a hiatus? It's simple, actually. Summer is coming up, and it is PACKED this year. What with family vacation things, staffing at Fire Mountain (A Scouts summer camp), NYLT (Also Scouts), and other campouts and stuff, I won't be home much, and when I do, Scratch will probably not be my #1 priority. I MIGHT hop on for a little bit if I'm home for like a week, but more than likely, I'll be spending time with my cats, cleaning my room, etc. No offense, but Scratch probably won't enter my mind at all. So I figured I should let everyone know before I mysteriously disappear on 'yall. :) SECTION 3: HOW THIS WILL GO / WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU Yuck, I hate that the section title takes up 2 lines.... Anyway, please try to limit commenting. I don't want 200 mail when I get back. That means not even replying to this with stuff like "I'll miss you!" or "Ooh, lucky, you're in Scouts?? Me too!" As nice as it is, and as much as I appreciate it, it'll still add up and be a hassle. Sorry if I have due MAP parts or anything... If those have to be done urgently, you could try to find someone to collab...? Comic pings may continue! I'll see those when I get back! Just please put them all on @ruthierocks- , not here, if you haven't changed it yet. :) Same with invites, but do you REALLY want to invite someone who will be gone for months to your thing? Also, this should be obvious, but if I'm on hiatus, I can't post stuff! So don't ask when more is coming for my comic, games, etc. Thank you! Oh, and I MIGHT be able to work on some art or Wings on my phone while I'm gone, but no promises. I probably won't. If I do, SURPRISE! yay for you. :) Oof. That was NOT meant to be so long! Sorry!! :O
