As always, press the green flag to start. (I haven't made an actual starting screen as this is still a test project lol.) W/A/S/D to move the Cube. Press Space right before you touch the Possessed (The red circle) or its attacks to parry for 1 second. If you successfully parried an attack, the cooldown of your next parry will be 0.5 seconds, otherwise it will be 2 seconds. Parrying a projectile will NOT reduce the cooldown of your next parry, at least for now. The cyan spheres at the top left of the screen represents your lives, lose them all and... the game just... ends. (Again, I haven't made an ending screen ;-;) The blue rhombus under the lives appears when your parry is available, if not it will stay invisible. I've only made 3 attacks for the Possessed currently: 1. Dash - Indicated by the red rectangle, the Possessed dash towards the targeted direction after aiming. 2. Infection - The Possessed sprays 2 triangular daggers once and 3 triangular daggers once for two times. 3. Corruption - The Possessed drops 3 massive chunks from the sky. For now, I have not added any real objectives in the gameplay except for surviving, as this is, as I said, only a testing place for the parry mechanic.
If the Possessed DOES NOT start with the Dash attack, click the green flag to reset the game. This issue only happens sometimes, and I have no idea how to fix it ;-; Feel free to check the codes and if possible, tell me if there's an easier way of doing this other than my stupid idea using the remix feature. This WILL be updated further if I happen to be free. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update log: 13/6/2025 - Added the Infection attack for the Possessed, changed successful parry cooldown from 2 to 0.8 seconds, changed failed parry cooldown from 4 seconds to 3 seconds, changed the duration of a parry from 0.8 to 1 second, changed the duration of Immunity after taking damage from 1.5 to 2.5 seconds. 28/7/2025 - Possessed's Dash attack is now faster. The cube now gains a 50% speed boost while having the shield after taking a hit. Duration of Immunity increased from 2.5 to 3 seconds. (Only a small update, I'm busy with my school work sry ;-;) 30/7/2025 - Increased cube's movement speed by 25%. Added new attack for Possessed: Corruption. Reduced Parry cooldown by 33%. 21/8/2025 - Corrupted Chunks now drops at a much quicker pace.
