so, I bought a Switch 2, man, my "BOYCOTT NINTENDO, DO NOT SUPPORT SWITCH 2" self from 2 weeks ago must be fuming right now. I recieved mine today (6th of june 2025) and absolutely love it so far, Mario Kart World is SO much fun, feels quite a bit different to Mario Kart 8, but I can totally get used to it, the game's really fun so far, and I can't wait to properly sink my beak into it. I tried the Zelda upgrades, which run like a dream. man, it's surreal to see both games running at 60FPS, and even more to to see Korok Forest run at a consistent frame rate. I never finished TOTK (please stop yelling at me!) so I am totally going to play through that on here. yes, I bought Welcome Tour, how dare I. I figured that for £8, it wouldn't have been too much of a dent in my wallet, so I bought it, haven't played too much, but it's pretty good, it's great for seeing all of the features of Switch 2 in one package. all in all, this thing's great, I can't wait to see what games come out for it in the future.
