im writing a book called If I Were Seen. its a fiction novel about a girl who was supposed to be hung for stealing but she runs away and starts over with a new identity and changes her appearance. (oops my cat is curled up next to me and i just farted by her head-) in the n&c i will put the first few paras and would like feedback in the comments.
The strange young girl hid in the crowd. She was good at blending in with the other villagers, so nobody suspected a thing. Her name was Raiyna, and she was twelve years old and a princess. Not the kind of princess you would see in a Disney movie, but a savage and heartless one. Queen Aurolina, her mother and the ruler of Orcalina, had caught her stealing six hundred golden leaves, thirty silver leaves, and one bronze leaf from Orcalina’s best tree bank. Furious that her daughter would commit such an act, Aurolina sentenced her to execution but chose not to take back the leaves from Raiyna, intending to do so after the hanging.
