So basically I’m making this to just throw into an opener while crush finding because I’m gonna word salad a LOT of things. Please bear with me! Tapir yippee (She is CHONKY in my drawing help) ———————————————————— So if you’re here, you’re either interested in having your character get into a relationship with Tapir, reading out of curiosity, or clicking my projects for fun. You’re all welcome here! Tapir is a very… interesting cat. As of when I’m writing this, she’s incredibly insecure and doesn’t like to throw herself out there that much. So, Tapir is likely a bit of an “endurance relationship.” If you’re looking for love at first sight, look somewhere else, because Tapir’s “first sight” is going to be staying nervously away. Pretty much, Tapir has “relationship rankings.” It’s like progression. You have to go through one to get to the next. So yeah… Tapir won’t be a quick flare of affection. You gotta work for it! Those will be summarized below, and some of these (most of these) aren’t romantic, so enjoy reading however you like! (To clarify, Tapir doesn’t consciously do this. It’s more my list oriented brain lol) ———————————————————— ~{Strangers}~ “I’d rather they left me alone… I don’t want to burden them with my presence…” When it comes to strangers, Tapir will act very nervous, antisocial, and will often stutter. Just because she’s nervous. Don’t expect her to seek out interaction with strangers! ———————————————————— ~{Friends!}~ “Thank Starclan I have cats like you!” Around friends, Tapir is much more “herself.” She won’t stutter, and she’ll be surprisingly confident. However, she still will never act as a leadership cat. Tapir will hold her friends close, and her enemies very far away from her haven of friendship! ———————————————————— If you’re Tapir’s friend, you’ll likely either stay there, or diverge into one of the following classifications: crushes, and besties! Platonic relationships first! ———————————————————— ~{Besties!}~ “What would I do without you? You’re my most trusted confident.” Tapir will fight for her best friends. She will throw herself into uncomfortable situations, risk her wellbeing, and even cross paths with Starclan for these cats. She’ll share deep secrets, and these cats- they’re the only ones Tapir will cry in front of. Not guilt tears, not pain tears. Her tears of pain are reserved only for those she trusts the most. Consider yourself lucky to be here! (Note: you CAN jump from besties to crush) ———————————————————— “Oh… so now we’re here… how… exciting?” ———————————————————— ~{Crushes}~ “Can we… spend more time together? Ack- why’s my face hot-” "Tapir: the return of the stutter". If you’re Tapir’s crush, she’ll likely begin stuttering again. Not because she’s shy or uncomfortable, but because she’s smitten. She can’t find the right words, and you really take her breath away. Good work soldier, but she’ll never admit it to anyone but her besties. She’s still shy, remember that! ———————————————————— ~{Lovers}~ “I… I want a family. With you. I want to spend eternity with you. Please?” As expected, this is the next level of crushing. This one’s heavily reserved for warriorhood when Tapir actually understands her feelings! You’ve pretty much gained all the conditions of a bestie: secret telling, vulnerable moments of tears, etc. But don’t think you’re just another best friend! You’re under the lovers category for a reason. Tapir will explicitly find a way to get you gifts, spend time with you, and organize fun activities for the two of you! How sweet of her :3
So yeah. That’s my way of tracking Tapir’s relationships. But you might be wondering- what does /Tapir/ like? After all, you’re here to find a cute roleplay crush. If that’s not what you’re here for, this section is more of a… fun read? Informational, I suppose. Other than that, this section is my copy of: "Turning Tapir into a Mumbling Pile of Flustered Fur (For Dummies)"! /vsilly 1. Tapir will be very shy at first. Be gentle! Don’t push her into outward activities immediately. Her comfort bubble is very fragile, so don’t pop it immediately 2. Compliments… are not the way to go. Tapir has struggled with insecurities, so most of the time, she’ll assume a compliment is just a lie to comfort her. Rather than complimenting her, Tapir loves gifts! She sees extreme value in a gift from a cherished person, and will likely hold onto it for many moons. 3. Tapir is very easily influenced by the opinion of her friends. So, if her friends /really/ don’t like you, they might be good cats to get on your side! It’s very possible to swoon Tapir while having her friends despise you, but that would be. very challenging. (As for Tapir’s friends- this is /totally/ an invitation to stir the pot a bit and cast doubts in Tapir’s mind) 4. If you see something’s wrong… proceed with caution. She’s suddenly quieter and gets easily distracted? Something could be up with her. I’m not going to give away exactly what to do (where’s the fun?), but just be careful when Tapir is in her fragile moments. 5. You might be asking yourself, “Starry, what if Tapir doesn’t like my cat’s sexuality/gender?” Never fear, people who likely don’t care! Tapir is pansexual! When she discovers this, ah, who knows. You might wonder her preference? 100% everything! Because her love for her friends transcends normal math. 6. This one is a bit of an OORP thing, but obviously, don’t be overtly rude to me or any of my friends. Remember that this is my character, and even if you follow all these steps to the T, I still might decide I don’t want Tapir with your character. Annnnddd that wraps it up! Now, even ChatGPT could get Tapir to be crushing! Th- that’s not an invitation though. Don’t use ChatGPT to roleplay.
