╭── ⋅ ⋅ ─────── ✩ ──────── ⋅ ⋅ ─╮ Wooo just got back from a 2 week trip to Australia!! LITERALLY ACROSS THE ENTIRE WORLD </3 oh my goddd the travelling process was TORTUROUS UGHHGHGHHAOW;IER anyways I had a ton of fun and took a bunch of photos too! I'll try to divide each picture up by a small description of what I did each day (some days I didn't take photos so I'll just have a description!) Day 1 - travelled, went on a 5 hour flight, then a 15 hour flight overnight 1. some cloud formations that reminded me of mountains :D 2. Pretty mountains/sunset photo as we were flying over San Francisco (our 5 hour flight was where I live to San Francisco, our 15 hour flight was from San Franciso to Sydney, Australia!) 3. Snowy mountains in San Francisco (literally flying over the city was gorgeous) Day 2 - Landed in Sydney at 7am local time and wandered around, wasting time around the Opera until we could enter our hotel at 3pm 4. cityscape of Sydney 5. The Opera! 6. Another cityscape from the position of the giant bridge by the Opera 7. random aesthetic lil street 8. another cute street with that giant bridge in the background Day 3 - Went to Bondi Beach for the day and did some hiking/exploring! 9. Bondi Beach! If Scratch didn't DESTROY photo quality you could see seagulls taking a bath in the tide pool below (they're those smudgy dots </3) 10. cliffs meeting the water (there's a lot of photos like this) 11. hehe flowers over the water 12. another cliffside facing above the water, what a surprise!!!! 13. more flowers (I take a lot of these types of photos too lol) 14. moree... 15. a graveyard (late 1800s early 1900s graves mostly) 16. photo taken at night (bet you couldn't tell frfr) over a pool 17. the Vivid lightshow thing that happens for a week (I think) in Sydney 18. you guessed it!!! another cityscape!!!! Day 4 - Visited Manly Beach and wandered around. Would've taken more photos but my phone quality isn't great at taking things from afar :( 19. m u s h r o o m s hehehehe Day 5 - Wandered around Sydney and visited a couple museums! I enjoyed the Sydney Museum specifically for its display of modern and prehistoric wildlife 20. a greenhouse we visited in the Botanical Gardens 21. whoa more flowers I'm sure this is such a surprise 22. even more WHOA!! 23. MORE!!! GROUNDBREAKING!!!! 24. Peeked inside a church Day 6 - Went to Blue Mountain for the day! SO GORGEOUS??? Such a good visit if you enjoy hiking and want some good photos 25. The Three Sisters rock formation! 26. some local cockatoos that were literally so chill, this wasn't zoomed in at all :0 27. he knows he's pretty, he said "yeah take a photo of my, that's my new profile pic on Tinder" (WHAT AM I SAYING BAHAHAHA) 28. literally majestic waterfall are you kidding me?! 29. landscape pic with a whatever that's called (I've been told what it is like 14 times and I still don't remember </3) 30. another because why not 31. not the greatest pic but oh well, I was inside the world's steepest cablecar THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE CALLED I DID IT I GET A GOLD STICKER 32. m a g p i e 33. stupid idiot hehehehe 34. omw back from Blue Mountains in a tram during the sunset Day 7 - didn't take any photos cus I left my phone charging at the hotel :( We went to the local fish market and some more museums cus knowledge is cool SUE ME Day 8 - Took a 5 hour flight to Perth (the most isolated city in the world!) and visited some family 35. OH WOW THANKS SCRATCH FOR DESTROYING THE QUALITY YAY!!! I just wanted an aesthetic plane photo </3 36. neat photo of a lake Day 9 - Went to a nature reserve oh boy there's a lot of photos, but a ton of cool animals!! 37. saw a rainbow in the morning :] 38-42. my cousin's stupid idiot dog LOOK AT HIM HE'S SO UWRGTIUJRIEKD I LOVE HIM AAAA 43-45 cousin's cat he's a lil baby hehehehe 46. kookaburra! 47. went into a kangaroo/wallaby enclosure (WITH PERMISSION!) and RAHHAHAHGHAHAHAA kangaroo fur feels like cotton (minus the oil you get from the chemicals the sheep secrete to act as sunscreen) wallaby fur reminds me of horse fur 48. hehe baby kangaroo in its mother's pouch 49. tons of kangaroos chilling with each other 50. literally such a photo LOOK AT HER!!! LITTLE QUEEN!! 51. an opossum! Australia's opossums look much different than mine do 52. goofy lil skink 53. black cockatoo 54. wombat! They look so goofy lol 55. bro wanted to eat my brother's finger </3 56. some skinks? I think? There are a bunch curled up under the light 57. frilled lizard giving me a side eye 58. koala hehehe was able to get up next to it and pet it 59. wedge tail eagle 60. DINGO!!! FELLA!!! 61. bro is judging both you and me (fear her gaze) 62. some koi fish! Day 10 - Took a tour of Fremantle Prison, wandered around, and had a picnic in the park with my family 63. cityscape of Perth 64. same cityscape but after the sun set (more below, ran out of space)
Day 11 - Entertained our cousins, wandered around a park, and visited yet another museum 65. looking up at a random tree in the park because I can lol 66. guys look another flower photo 67. guys look another flower photo 68. guys look...another flower photo... 69. guys...look...its uh..its another flower photo 70. guys... 71. guh... 72. IM FREE!!! uh anyways this is the prehistoric section of the museum I visited! I believe this is during the Devonian time period! 73. skeleton of a Diprotodon, it's the largest marsupial in the world's history :0 74. THYCALINE!! Otherwise known as the Tasmanian Tiger. It's relatively recently extinct due to Dingos driving it to Tasmania to be kiIIed off by hunters. This one in particular is the best preserved Thycaline ever recorded (fell and got trapped in a cave, died of hunger, got left in good cave conditions to be found in a good state!) Day 12. Drove 3 hours to Dunnsborough for the last couple of days, visited the ocean, some caves, and wandered the area 75. random pic as I was messing with shutter speed on the way here 76. the world's longest jetty (Busselton Jetty) 77. pretty cloud formations! 78. a rainbow formed over the jetty (haha everyone turned around to take a picture of it at the same time) Day 13 - UGHHH OF ALL DAYS TO FORGET MY PHONE AT THE HOUSE CHARGING </33 I took some pics on my mom's phone so hopefully I can upload those later BUT we visited the beach and some caves for the day! SO PRETTY WHY DID I LEAVE MY PHONEEE Day 14 - first day starting the long freaking journey home. Drove 3 hours to Perth again, then took a 5-hour flight back to Sydney and stayed in a hotel 79. photo I took on the plane while the sun was setting Day 15-16 - Over the course of 2 days due to time zones, took a 15 hour flight to San Francisco, waited 3 hours, took another 5 hour flight to the airport where I live, took an hour in the shuttle, then took another hour driving to our house from the shuttle.
