Sprucekit is so adorable and honestly this is perfect timing because I just lost Berryblight T^T (Please don't judge how unorganized or terribly formatted this application is! I haven't done this in forever because my last cat was literally ancient like Fourtrees) So...feline hip dysplasia! Basically where Sprucekit's leg(s) connect to his hip it is very loose and slightly not correctly aligned with the socket, making the movements less smooth and precise. It also makes the bones grind against each other, wearing them down slowly. It is supposed to be genetic (does either of his parents have it? I may be forgetting if I read that!). He may limp or just let it drag to dull pain. He'll be less active than others, so he'll stay out of most mossball games or playfights. If I'm missing anything for this research, lemme know! He's a little shy meeting anyone who isn't his family at first, but he'll warm up to other cats in time. When he's friendly with you, Sprucekit can be playful (if his hip dysplasia allows it) arrogant, and a little rude. Sprucekit mostly finds himself thinking of how to fix his "disease" (though he'll know when he's older that it can't be cured) and little stuff like what prey he wants for dinner, or maybe if he should try to climb a tree that reaches the clouds (which doesn't seem right to him; wouldn't someone tell him if there really WAS a tree that big?). Sprucekit sometimes feels a little put-out when he can't do the usual kit stuff thanks to his hip. But his energy and optimism helps him through the worst of his very rare sad outbursts. It's a fifty/fifty of mischief or obedience. >:) There's this weird clip thingy when you press the stop sign?? His pronouns will always be he/him, and he's always straight. If the roleplay would allow it, he'd live forever, but we'll have to settle for keeping him alive as long as I can.
