What is multi-touch? Multi-touch refers to the ability of a device or interface to recognize and respond to multiple simultaneous touch inputs, such as fingers or styluses, on a touch-sensitive surface. Place down multiple fingers in any order. Take off the finger that the circle is under, and you'll see the circle move to the next finger you placed down. This project takes advantage of the way your touch inputs are registered on a touchscreen device. You'll notice that the <Mouse Down?> block will only register your first finger, but I've used the way your device reports information to the 'Go to (Mouse Pointer)' block to move the circle. This demonstrates a simplified version of input prioritization - how mobile systems determine which touch input is currently “in control.” You can use this technique without rendering the circle to make adaptive controls for projects such as a drifting game, where multi-touch can be used to create a better play experience.
