An Important Notice (pride month challenge + break)

This is a project I /seriously/ did not want to make, but unfortunately it’s gotten to the point where I have to. So, I’ve found myself unable to finish the pride month challenge for this year, something I’ve been able to complete for the last 2 years. In the case of me having to make a project like this, it would’ve originally been a fault of only my own as I had poor planning and time management for the icons this year. However as of recently, another thing came up that, as much as I’d like to blame myself for it, is outside of my control. I’m going to try and keep this next part as vague as I can due to both filterbots and the fact I'm just not ready to talk about it publicly. The past 4 days have been extremely rough for my mental health. This has caused me to be unable to work on several art related things to the point I can only do art of some ocs and on-base designs. It’s also caused me to be very slow at replying to messages / comments and doing non-art work. The reason behind all of this is something I won’t go into on scratch. I will say though that it’s the reason why my comments have been turned off for a few hours every now and then, as that’s something I tend to do when I’m not feeling well. So with all of this said, unfortunately I am unable to do the pride month challenge all the way through. I was genuinely so excited to do this challenge, as it’s something I know a lot of people look forward to, and also it gives much needed representation to many often overlooked identities, which personally I think is more important now than ever. But with recent events and realizations in my personal life? I just can’t. And I’m so unbelievably sorry for that. In addition to this, I am also taking a break from my main. I don’t know how long this break will be as I don’t know how long it’s going to take for me to process what’s been going on. It could be 2 weeks, it could be a month. I have no idea. It shouldn’t be longer than a month though; if something comes up that causes it to be longer, then rest assured I will make another update project. Like all my other breaks, I’ll be on the same alt as usual. If you know the alt, you know the alt. If you don’t, you can probably find it. I don’t really keep it a secret haha I do also want to mention though is the pride month icons I’ve already made. I have about almost dozen and a half prepared in advance for the challenge that I’m now unable to use in their own individual projects, so instead I’ve decided to dump them all here. Each icon is listed in notes & credits, alongside what identity it is + my thoughts on the art, if any. I’ll be on this account for another 2 days / until June 11th in case anyone has something to say or a question. Also, if anyone wants to know the definition for an identity (whether the icon is in this project or on the pride month calendar), then just ask it here and I’ll be open to providing it. Once I 'officially' go on break, I'll close the comments of this project. Alright, well that should be all. I apologize greatly for how low-energy I sound btw. I’ve been extremely mentally drained due to these past few days, so I’m not the most energetic right now.
