Hey guys. I know that this project isn’t going to be really popular, and it probably won’t be seen much. But if you could, I would really appreciate if you ❤️ or ⭐️, I really want this to be seen. If you don’t want to, that’s ok. I just wanted to rant somewhere. If you do or don’t know. I’m a girl. Most of my friends are girls on scratch, with a few exceptions. My problem is how girls are treated. And this is in EVERY WAY. Careers, Education, and LOTS more. Some might be thinking ‘Oh, girls already have ALL the rights they need!’ No. We don’t. Women in Afghanistan have had all there rights taken. (Example: Permission to walk without a male accompanying them, Permission to Wear WHAT THEY WANT.) And not just in Afghanistan! Young girls in Bangladesh and in some parts of underdeveloped India, are being married off before the age of 18. Oh, and don’t think America doesn’t have any of misogyny. Us girls, we have to face annoying troll face edits on YouTube and TikTok. And lots of humiliation. THIS IS NOT FAIR. And I’m not implying males don’t also have their struggles. It’s just not quite the same as us girls struggles. But no one EVER LISTENS. They just think we are dumb women, who don’t know how to drive properly. We NEED TO PROTEST. We need to fight for the rights of our mothers, aunts, grandmothers, and sisters. I like to look at these AMAZING suffragettes for inspiration. 1. Constance Markievicz. The leader of the Irish Rebellion of 1916. She was also the FIRST WOMEN to be elected as one of the members in the Wesminister Parliament of London. 2. Bhikaji Cama. An Indian suffragette, and also the first person to hoist the Indian flag onto foreign land. She played an awesome part in the action of India’s freedom from the British. So, I ask you, fellow scratchers, to take part and protest, for not just you, but your mothers, sisters, aunts, friends, and grandmothers. Fight for them. -Cooki
