Yay art!! I forgot to post this one when I finished it. Pretty sure it took what, 8 hours? I'm pretty proud of it though. Scratch plus my photos app 100% butchered the quality but that's what we get here. This drawing was supposed to have some really cool perspective but I gave up, there's still some perspective though! It's just not as dramatic as I wished it was. This is Lorenzo! He's the lead guitarist of the band "The Submersibles"! He's based of a shark if you couldn't tell. Mind you, I still haven't figured out of the shark tail is real or not, so don't try to ask. He's super cool, I love him. He's playing a Stratocaster here! One of my favourite guitars but Lorenzo also plays a Les Paul and an SG sometimes, the Stratocaster is just his go-to. It's a little hard to see but his nails are painted dark blue! They were supposed to be black but then I decided against that, I do think he paints them black sometimes though. Oh yeah, and in time for pride month, he's a gay trans man! Does that sound familiar at all?.. Anyways, my favourite part of this drawing is DEFINITELY the background, it's what took the most time. All the musicians and albums mentioned are: Aladine Sane (left) and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars (right); both by David Bowie. Abbey Road (left) and Rubber Soul (left); both by The Beatles. The Queen is Dead (left) by The Smiths (it was supposed to be Meat Is Murder but I decided against that for some reason.) Blur (left) by well, Blur. The Dark Side of The Moon (right) and Wish You Were Here (right); both by Pink Floyd. And finally: Definitely, Maybe (right) by Oasis. Keep in mind, I haven't listened to all of these albums, I mostly just thought they looked cool (especially the ones on the right) and I like to think that Lorenzo quite likes them because it IS his room after all. The album I'm proud of the most is DEFINITELY Ziggy Stardust, it took so long but it was very worth it. Wish You Were Here is also up there. There's other details on the walls too! Like a Stratocaster doodle, some stars, "beetlebum" which is a song by Blur written under their self-titled, "all you need to love" under the Beatles poster, the britpop discourse near the Oasis logo "BLUR'S BETTER!" -syd (which is The Submersibles bassist), "i like pulp" -mick (who's their drummer) (Lorenzo has no preference for his britpop bands), "ROCK ON!", and "L + D 4EVER" L is Lorenzo, D is Davey (who's the vocalist!). They're dating. The background is VERY packed with references and I am VERY proud of it. His name in the bottom left is actually supposed to be his autograph. Uhhh uhmmm that's all, thank you.
