Hello, and thank you for your interest in this project! This is a canon-divergent, emotional Warrior Cats MAP focused on Lionblaze — a warrior burdened by prophecy, legacy, and the weight of impossible expectations. Set after the events of The Last Hope, this MAP explores an alternate version of Lionblaze’s story: one where the glory has faded, and all that remains are scars — some visible, and some not. Through powerful visuals and symbolic imagery, animators will follow Lionblaze as he reflects on his past, mourns what was lost, and unravels under the pressure of what he was supposed to be. This is a story about guilt, failure, and the cost of being chosen. Scroll down to read the full rules — then grab a part and fill out the form to join! Make sure you read everything carefully before claiming. I can’t wait to see your take on this! It took me so long to put together :p RULES : - 1. Clean Edits Only No watermarking over the animation. Please sign discreetly in the corner if needed. No cutting or rearranging the provided audio. 2. Consistent Design Use the provided design sheet or canon references for Lionblaze. AU is allowed (e.g., slightly altered designs or stylization), but Lionblaze must remain recognizable. Flashbacks may include Cinderheart, Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, Squirrelflight, or Tigerstar. 3. Violence is OK (within reason) Blood, battle, and emotional trauma are allowed. No excessive gore, mutilation, or torture. 4. Emotion & Symbolism Encouraged This MAP leans heavily into visual metaphors, emotional storytelling, and internal conflict. You are welcome to be expressive! Interpret abstract parts uniquely but keep the mood aligned with the script. 5. Completed Animation Only Tweening, full animation, and stylized movement are all okay — just no slideshow PMVs, uncolored animatics, or messy sketches. Clean linework and color required. Roughs will not be accepted as finals. No need to ask to make a tn! Codeword is your fav animal 6. Deadlines & Communication First WIP due 1–2 weeks after claiming a part. You must submit your full part at least at the 3-4 weeks mark If you ghost or miss two check-ins without communication, your part will be dropped. 7. Keep It Kind (Use your own art) Be respectful and kind to others participating in the MAP. If you need help, reach out! We want everyone to succeed. Use your own art meaning no, tracing, heavily refrencing, stealing, etc... others art. I want all of your part to BE YOUR ART. 8. How to Join Fill out the form. There are two forms. One is an invited form and the other in a non-invited form. Show examples of completed animation. Must be relevant to your part request. No first-come-first-serve — parts will be assigned based on fit and style. Form - (Non-Invited) Username / Alias // List the part or parts(s) (two parts max) you’d like to animate, in order of preference. (Ex: Part 4, Part 7, Part 11) // Link 1–3 examples of your finished MAP parts, short animations, or personal projects. Do not link WIPs only. // Codeword (hidden in the rules) // Do You Understand the Deadlines? You’ll be expected to submit a wip within 1–2 weeks of claiming, and check in regularly.
