so! i have a concept. a loner group but its not like an allegiance, its all cats 10+ moons old and they are called "wardens". the group itself is known as the stronghold. itd be nice if joining it is seen irp as like brave or honorable or whatever regardless of if they like/approve of it but i cant force your cat to see it that way. what do they do? well, youve probably noticed that in gens cats like to commit crimes. thats no surprise. this group acts like a prison for cats caught committing a crime. they maintain neutral during periods like war or rebellion and ensure good relations with decision-makers in clans. a possible punishment becomes sending cats to become prisoners under the stronghold. its more of an irp punishment than like a serious mechanic. prisoners will have to hunt and patrol for the group. this is also part of the wardens' and dignitaries' duties. any cat 10 or more moons of age is able to join but some may be rejected ( only ever due to low exp or their history and reputation like previously serving as a prisoner ). prisoners will have fixed sentences or indefinite ones where the dignitaries decide after a certain point that they've been sufficiently rehabilitated. after that point they can become try join a clan or become a loner/kp or whatever, they just can't become a warden. the stronghold is lead by a single commander and 2-4 dignitaries, with the rest of its members being wardens. prisoners are officially members of the group oorp and if they don't have enough exp of their own will need to be supported by a warden/dignitary/commander able to. the commander is the leader, a single cat that oversees operations. they can veto dignitaries choice to release a cat. they will select one dignitary as their successor in the case that they die or retire, the other dignitaries will still be dignitaries they just won't take over. after a dignitary takes over as leader they can choose to keep the current set of dignitaries, replace them, mix and match, etc. dignitaries are like deputies and manage operation to ensure things are running smoothly. they'll make sure prisoners are patrolling, hunting and behaving themselves. the point of prisoners patrolling and hunting is both to keep the stronghold running and to introduce concepts like helping provide for the clan to prisoners. wardens do most of the guarding and also hunt and patrol. basically warriors. !they are not cartoonishly evil to the prisoners! prisoners are allowed free time, they can leave being escorted by at least one warden or dignitary (multiple for like violent reoffenders) and are allowed supervised interaction with loved ones. i think this would be cool for some irp plot beats. like a father worrying his kit will get hurt now that theyre becoming a warden, a mate conflicted now their lover is a prisoner under the stronghold, etc.
click through for some diagrams and after reading top desc please reply using the following form: would you seriously consider having a cat you roleplay become a warden? - would this be a current cat of yours or a future cat? - if you are currently a leader or highrank, would you send a cat here as punishment? - if you are not currently a leader or highrank but hypothetically were, would you send a cat here as punishment? - do you have any suggestions or improvements to be made?
