The counsel was quickly dismissed afterward. I tried to catch up with Jason. "So, you're the son of Jupiter?" I asked him. "Yes. Good luck on your quest." He said. "How long have you lived at Camp Jupiter, I think I've seen you around before." "Since I was eight." I said, showing him my tattoo. "Cool. How are Frank and Hazel?" Jason asked. "Um, I don't know. They were sent on a mission a long way back, haven't heard from them since." I said. "Oh, that's a shame. Keep a look out for me while you're on the quest. Also," He stopped me and put his hands on my shoulders. "Watch your six with Alexandra. She's a nice girl, but don't get on her bad side, you might regret that." "Okay." I said. I headed back to Cabin three to pack. All I did was put my old clothes at the bottom of my backpack. Done. I swung it over my backpack and went outside. I sat on the doorstep and waited, twirling my thumbs. "Hey, Tony?" I looked up and Alexandra was standing in front of me. "Hi," I said, as she sat down next to me. "I was wondering if you wanted this back?" She held out my knife. It looked like the blade was cleaned and the handle was polished. "Thanks." I said, returning it to its sheath. "You keep it in your sock?" Alexandra asked. "Well, not exactly," I pulled back my sock to reveal a sheath strapped to my ankle. "Doesn't that hurt?" She asked. "You get used to the rash." I said. Alexandra laughed. We sat in silence for a little while, watching as the daily camp routines were carried out. Then Chiron approached us. "It is time for you to be on your way." He said. "Alexandra will fill you in on the way, Tony." I nodded. We both stood up. Chiron lead us to the entrance to the camp. "You will head for Columbus, Ohio. Get there by the solstice. May the gods light your path." We nodded and started to head for the city.
Canva Rick Riordan Sorry, this was a little shorter than normal. I promise you, Chiron said something to the effect of 'may the gods light your path' or am I just crazy?
