************************************************************* ************************************************************ *********************************************************** ********************* Story VV Saudade, Saudade was a someone compared to her sister, Allison. She had it all, Grace, Forgiveness, and a love* for moths. She’d always draw every moth that she came across with striking detail and* got moth themed things albeit they were rarely on the market. She’d always wear this moth themed sunhat and while many thought it was ugly, it was beautiful to her. Saudade was a nobody Over the years, as they drifted farther apart, Allison started trying to bond with their sister again out of longing*, except that they just started pulling “jokes” on Saudade, just like Saudade used to do to her. Slowly but surely though, over the years, the “jokes” started to become less of a way of “bonding,” and more for* impressing their new friends, more for entertainment. More for showing how impressive their sister was, but Saudade was never told that. “THAT day.. something* terrible happened that day.” It went too far on the night of THAT day. The most ambitious “joke” of the year. At the Gala, someone was lost* that day due to that “joke” —- “ALLISON!” Saudade choked out, scrambling forward toward them. Allison was on the stained pristine ground, with “Apple juice” all around them, slowly flowing from their body. Saudade spoke shakily “Wait, I-I can fix this, I’lll call over the Infirmar-ry and then-“ “no” Allison whispered softly, she looked up a little to her, almost anticipating a response. “I wish I was you.” The words started flowing. “I should be the one d3@d, I should be the one to d1e. You are perfect, I’m well, just another person in the crowd.” She chuckled dryly. They kept flowing until Saudade words choked in her throat, tears welled in their eyes, it felt impossible to speak. In a last ditch to say what she could, she whispered “I should’ve ðł3d earlier.” “No, I should’ve,” Allison said. Saudade was taken aback by these words, after all she’d done? Maybe, but did Saudade want her to? No. But she never saw her admit or even look like she regretted her decisions in the past. Maybe it was because she knew she wasn’t going to make it. Allison spoke, “What I did was wrong, I was getting so much praise for my creativity and for what you could do that I didn’t even consider that what I was doing was flawed or dangerous. I filed too close to the sun, so I must pay somehow. “I’m sorry sister~” “I’m sorry sister~” Allison smiled and closed her soft gaze, it was the last time Saudade heard her sister, ever again. —— “M7rd3r3r!” “K1łł3r!” “No, Worse, a Witch!” These are things that Saudade heard in the next moments. “She klłł3d Allison!” Was a common sentiment. “After them!” Was another. And the next thing she knew, she was rushing down the halls, nearly getting hit in the head with glasses and plates in the process. Saudade ran, and ran, all the way where no soul could get them in the woods. From there they worked back their life from the ground up, renovating an old shed into a little house. But even the Gods fell for the lies, as Saudade wasn’t able to join their family in the Afterlife and instead was forced roam the world as a contorted version of themselves in a time unknown to them for their so called “s1ns” People say that you can see them at Early dawn, interacting with the Moths and Butterflies, perhaps in search of their sister? ——————- *
