*Recorder clicks on* <Briar> Blossom used to carry around a tape recorder and tapes. they'd fill up boxes in our room, and closets. <Briar> Those, and disposable cameras. i never questioned where she got them, i assumed she'd just order them. <Briar> So this is her fault. *theres a soft hum of what might be electricity* <Briar> Do you know what Not-Deer are? or... Once-Deer? I'd say Once-Deer are still considered cervidae. once a deer, always a deer. but Not-Deer? they're Other. They make you look closer until you see the seams. they make you go 'that is not a deer.' but they look so similar. <Briar> This is to say I believe in the paranormal. not magic or anything silly, but Not-Deers, and ghosts, and... well, you get the idea. <Briar> I think my last straw with Blossom was the walkie talkies. i don't know where she got them, but she got a pair of black walkie talkies. she gave me one, took one herself, and disappeared into the woods for two days. i didnt hear a single crackle the whole time. she was total radio silence. <Briar> When she emerged from the trees finally, i didnt know whether to punch her for scaring me or kiss her because she was alive. she didnt bring anything with her into the woods. just the walkie talkie and a plastic pair of pink headphones.when she came back the headphones were gone, but the walkie talkie hung at her waist. i just stared at her as she went into our house silently. she was never super loud, we're both what i would call... semisocial, but she was almost completely silent for a few weeks. <Briar> Whenever i tried to ask her about what happened in there, she just changed the subject blankly. of course i worried about fae or- or Something had taken her and replaced her, or done something to her, but as far as i could tell she was still Blossom, just... different. <Briar> I dont think i mentioned it, but this was about 3 years ago. she moved out a couple months later and we went our separate ways, me urging her to get counseling and her insisting she was fine. *Recorder clicks off*
i recorded an actual 'Statement' inside the project (this is not my real accent- idk what my real accent is at this point, but i love voice acting ehehe)
