I noticed a few people join a lot of ORPs, but don't make many themselves, and I suppose this is because people have trouble thinking up how to start one. So here are a few ORP starters for you to copy and paste. You don't have to give credit and you can edit them is you like. I worte them for Melding, but you can use them in other RPs if you like (though some wouldn't really work...), I don't really mind, their just here to help when the writers block comes. If none of these fit your characters, feel free to request one, eg; 'starter for noble character', 'starter for merchant character', 'starter set in Caridal city'... Is this just a secret plot by me, making things easier so (hopefully!) more ORPs will be started and joined, and my RP will become more active and therefore more popular? Yes. Yes it is. UPDATE: It didn't work. Ah well, worth a try
(remember to replace <<your character>> with your characters name, and change the pronouns if needed) <<your character>> dashed through the bustling streets of Harbour. True, this place wasn't so busy as it once was, with the new taxes and laws making Aldoreth less and less popular with neighbouring countries, but today was an exception. A trade ship from Elthi had stopped by, and the Elthi were well know for their cheep prices. So <<your character>>, like everyone else in the crowd, was rushing in to see what they could get, before all the good items had been sold. <<your Melding character>> crouched low on a rooftop in <<place>>. Listening carefully, they remained perfectly still until footsteps of the guards who had been chasing them had faded well into the distance. Breathing a sigh of relief at escaping capture yet again, they slid of their hiding place on the roof, landing with a soft thud and into what they had thought was an empty alleyway. In the streets of the great Caridal city people were rushing to get out of <<your character>>'s way. Though they weren't particularly tall or strong looking,/Perhaps it was their intimidating frame or that (<- choose one) they were simply in a bad mood. Strange, the effect a hard glare and heavy stomps can have one a crowd. They had no trouble clearing a path. That is, until one person wouldn't move. Possibly they were stubborn or hadn't seen <<your character>> yet. Either way, <<your character>> wouldn't put up with it. "Hey! You're blocking my path, move!" More will come!
