"nobody to credit other then myself, this may seem like the griffpatch tutorial for the platformer or 3d scroller but no, 99% of the code is my own. i more or less based this off a project i never released that was suppose to be a 2d half life 1, and something else ill get into later, (editing note: this isnt the only reason, i made a two 2d portal games, one which is w,i,p and one that is cancelled and has been archived on @bob-friend, also inspired by multiple failed attempts of recreating valve games with 3d raycasters, they are uploaded on @bob-friend too, such as the tf2 and half life 1 demo, the half life 2 demo is there too but its the worst one by far, yeah.) Change Log: V1.0: released demo, named it to physbox, V1.1: renamed to Source Demo, and made the game kinda more source engine themed, blah blah blah you get the idea V1.2: changed footstep sounds to half life 2 ones, and made it so player does a crunch sound when falling at a certain speed and landing on the floor, based name of that software from that one interloper video, changed the playermodel to infoplayerstart, and made it so randomly in a 1/10 chance that the game might have the backdrop be a png of infoplayerstart that slowly fades into the white void V1.3: Added the half life suit, and hud which can only be seen with the suit on if you have your mouse lower on your screen v1.4: Added a suit charger but it is still a work in progress, made all objects draggable, but the player doesnt seem to move still V1.45 BUGFIX: fixed the hev suit gaining y velocity even when being carried V1.46 EDIT NOTE: mentioned me being motivated to make this project by an engine someone tried making in scratch, changed game name to include the version number and a w.i.p sign V1.5: Added a commentary node V1.55: Made The Commentary Mode Draggable Because I Forgot to do so originally, also made go to the back layer since its a FAKE TRANSPARENT IMAGE, DISGUSTING... V1.6: i didnt add anything i just wanted to rounden the name because the name V1.55 looked weird V1.7: Added an animated suit battery, wip V1.8: Added a button that kills the player V1.9: Following an irl controversity, i changed the code for the button to say, (idk I am not checking) im not gonna speak to much about it but someone thought i was telling people to kill themselfs which was wrong, i was making the game, yes, thats it, V2.0: Added Player Chat, made the battery able to be picked up, suit charger still w.i.p, modified it so map will always spawn with that map, but i left all the old maps still, added pickup history but it doesnt do anything yet, modified the hev suit pickup sound to sound a little less bad, mentioned more things that inspired this game in the credits. V2.05: Increased Chance of the info_player_start easter egg where the white background would be a picture of info_player_start and fade to white, you can see the easter egg by clicking the start button with an autoclicker, made the button only Kill the player when they are close (sorta) to it. V2.2: fixed suit battery and hev suit charger to work properly, a once unused pop-up now appears when u grab the battery from the floor, the hev charger randomises to be: 1=75 (default) 2=200 (citadel charger from hl2) 3=25 (kleiners lab charger) V2.3: Change Chat feature and how messages are displayed to a variable, fixed Kill button reach to be 300 instead of 150 V2.35: wrote the changelogs for V2.3 and V2.2, removed "(W.I.P)" from the title and added "GAME TOOL" to the title because I plan for people to be able to use this project as a base for their own games V2.37: changed the kill button radius to 500 and fixed bug where text that asks if the player will press it only at a distance of 100, so now u can see it at 500 V2.4: added a physgun in the corner of the level, currently theres nothing to pickup V2.45: Added instructions for firing in the instructions list V3: FINALLY FIXED THE BUG WHERE YOU CAN JUMP INTO A CEILING AND GET TELEPORTED TO THE TOP OF IT, BUT NOW THAT HAS CAUSED A BAJILLION MORE BUGS inspired by the source engine..... oh and also i saw someone try to remake the source engine but failed and i took that as motivation" -
