Story: Taiyo. He wasn't an ordinary raccoon. Although he had "different" markings, he was blind. And that was the one thing that mad his life miserable. Being blind. As a kit, whenever he tried to play with other raccoons, he would have gotten scoweled at, hissed at, and scratched for even asking. Because he was blind, he would make whoever he was hanging out with, look bad. As if they were just as low as him. Taiyo was bullied quite often. Even though he was blind and couldn't SEE what was going on, he could HEAR and SENSE what was going on. When your born blind, all your other senses automatically become way more accurate and better. So, every insult just hurt him more. Every whisper he could hear. Every romor he could sence. Every stare he could feel. Taiyo had it tough on him. Until the day he heard about Seirei. Seirei. She was, by rumor, since he could never see her, a depressed raccoon with weird colors and patterns: Just like Taiyo. Her family had been killed and she had the ability to turn into a spirit; a ghost, and she was colorblind. Not completley blind, but colorblind. She had drifted off to the moor that he lived in himself, and started to live there. Seirei always seemed so lonley, but, she was the talk of all the raccoons. Not as in bad talks and rumors, like they'd talk about Taiyo, but talk as in "she looks so cool, her patterns are awesome, she must be so rad to hang out with...." Seirei had all the attention, but she didn't like it at all. Anytime someone would try to talk to her, she'd just turn into a spirit and fly away quickly. So, she still stayed alone. One night, Taiyo was sitting and ataring at the moon. Something drifted across the night sky, kind of like a shooting star. But it was Seirei. She floated down, and landed close by to where Taiyo was. She swiftly padded over to him and sat down right next to him. "Seirei? Is that you?" Taiyo asked, suprised. "Y-Yeah....." Seirei murmured. "Oh, um, okay.... er....." "You're probably wondering why i sit next to you, even though I try to avoid most other animals, right?" "Yeah....." "Well, I guess I just got kind of lonley...... I guess you just remid me of an old friend, i guess..... Pirate....." "Pirate? Who?" "Well, he was an adventerous raccoon, and....." Seirei paused for a long sigh. "He was.... kind of special..... i guess...... We met when I still hadn't changed, when I was still adventerous, he was a pirate living on a human ship, and he promised........" Seirei sighed again and shook her head. "Promised what...?" Taiyo asked. "He just promised that he'd find a way to see me again, and he never did...... I feel miserable....... I don't know why, i just think of him often..... wondering if he's still okay, or if he has changed, like me......" "Oh...... Pirate..... But how do I remind you of him? I mean, i get bullied, i'm blind, i am not adventerous....." Taiyo asked. "I don't know why, either.... I guess you just.... do...?" "O-oh......." "I.... I guess I just wish he was here...... it just isn't the same without him....." Seirei whispered quietly....
