Just playing around with Blender! Pretty happy with it. I was interested in how old games like the famed Donkey Kong Country pre-rendered there assets for a cheap 3D look. I wanted to experiment a bit so I downloaded a Jackal model, fixed some of the textures, slapped a cheap animation on it, rendered it out, and BAM! The file size rendered at 2048x2048 is probably too large to make a game with a ton of assets, but downscaling the resolution could allow for some really cool games! I'll be looking in to this!
