I'll still check on this, jsyk **I'M NOT QUITTING AT ALL!!** yk, I'm js letting y'all know that maybe I won't be as active? but I can still do scratch and everything of the sort so dw lol, there's no problems related to this :> [ IGNORE THIS SECTION IF U HAVE STRONG POSITIVE BELIEFS ABT THE LGBTQIA+ COMM ] TW: mentions of the word s3x as in s3xual identities and some certain strong beliefs well I have a lil bit of stress.. so growing up in a loyal Catholic family they don't rly support lgbtq+... one night I talked to my mom- who was resting in my bed for a while- abt it, she talked to and abt it like it was a bad thing.. even referring to it as the "shadows" in the world js like there is the "sun". she basically implied not to get into the community and like "think they're the best ppl in the world and worship them" or whatever.. I inferred that she was saying that LGBTQ ppl are not cool. LIKE THAT HURTS ASF (I meant "as flip" lol I don't swear) OML.... It's rly sad, but she believes strongly in God's Word ( aka what the bible says ) and yk, it's smt that ppl feel abt lgbtq+ and I cant change that. I mean I'm a Catholic too, but in my very erm light studies (I barely study the bible lol) I didn't see anything that God specifically said to like not support LGBTQ ppl?? He did say that "women and men" were supposed to become partners, but nothing specifically abt others who don't. If anyone studies the bible more closely, do yk anything abt that?? but anyway yea... the way my family talks abt LGBTQ hurts. so it's a lil bit of a heavy weight, knowing so much of the community and secretly supporting it, but well I can't change who i'm born to can I? but the main question is... my family right in their beliefs, or am I right to support ppl no matter what their gender and sexual identity is? I thought the scratch community would understand and talk to me, so I put this here; that's pretty much the only reason lol if that section made u uncomfortable tell me and I'll delete it straight away. no explanation is / will be needed ❤
