I will ping you every few days so you don't forget! thanks! 1. cats of all clans, i have an announcement to make. for those of you who don't know me, my name is azureabloom, deputy of urchinclan. and i'm using my position to demote heartstar. perhaps you're wondering why. perhaps you're rather confused, that i, a new deputy, would try to do this. but the situation in urchinclan is worse than your think. heartstar has been neglecting their duties. claw lost their mate, and since then hasn't left her den for moons. when i asked them to go hunting, they told me she didn't have to. she told me claw was leader, ate first, and they didn't need to hunt at all! they've also been slacking off on ceremonies for moons, we had apprentices without mentors and warriors without names. when i asked her to i meant nothing but the best, she'd been rotting away in a den for moons. in return, they attacked me. if they've told you anything else, it's a lie. featherflight can back me up. but even then, heartstar is not a responsible leader, and they don't deserve their position. what kind of leader refuses to serve their clan like this? i'll let the medics talk now and cast their votes alongside mine. 2. featherflight, i remember when you lost tidedream. i remember how you struggled, and even though all that, you still healed countless cats and continued doing your duty to the clan. heartstar had no right to attack me, then proceed to refused to do anything. we'll wait for smilequack to have his say, but with you, we have enough highranks to demote heartstar. 3. led us faithfully? if anyone's the liar here, heartstar, it's you. you are the one who almost started a war with mossclan, lost us a hundred prey. you exiled mayflyrose for one single whisper of rebellion, something she wasn't actually planning to do. if you'd been more observant, you would have noticed that she was not the real threat, she was never the real threat. half the clan has already given their word that they would fight in a rebellion against you, or at least, it's what one of my other friends has told me .... i was willing to give you time. chances. you are the one that has consistently failed to hunt and patrol, you never did much even before whalesun died. you are the one who couldn't even get out of your den to do a ceremony. you are the one that attacked me when i even suggested that you leave your den. you attacked first, not me ... i've been alive long enough to know not to pick battles so randomly, with powerful cats. even if i hadn't iniated the fight, if i did what you say, shouldn't that mean /i/ am meant to be leader? if i can beat you so easily in a fight, perhaps that means you are weak. urchinclan doesn't want, nor need a weak leader. everyone, whatever this coward says doesn't matter anymore. heartstar, even without smilequack's vote, you are no longer leader. don't try anything. i doubt the clan will support you. 4. oh, really? get your story straight, heartstar. first you say i attacked you, took one of your lives, and partially blinded you. then you say we both got injured, and that i didn't end up beating you? one of these cannot be a truth without the other being a lie, and so therefore ... it's proof that you could have been lying about so much more, no? and look at this. you're just proving my point by attempting to attack me again. 5. you're irresponsible, insecure and quite frankly, weak. you're showing us all these traits as we speak. as much as you try to pretend, you haven't done a thing for this clan, and every cat there can affirm that. and so, i call upon the cats of starclan, the dark forest, and all those above to hear me. by my own vote and featherflight's, the majority have chosen and the highranks have spoken. from now on, you are no longer heartstar, but heart/shatter/. 6. well? no words, little liar? you've been so confident all along that your foolish deceptions would succeed, guess that's gone now. 7. well? want to go scurry back to camp? i'll let you stick around, if you want, i'm sure all the cats in camp will find it quite amusing. 8. yes, yes, you've said that before, i'm not the one doing .... violence, though. heartshatter was planning to attack me, if you didn't see that leap. they have done so before, actually. i'm not going to attack claw. but if heartshatter decides to try anything, that has consequences.
