Use arrow keys / click / tap / spacebar ___________________________________________ Often regarded as a dangerous Medusa-like monster that lurks in the woods, Basil isolates herself in a small home deep in the woods with little interaction, lest someone might take actions into their own hands and try to eliminate her. Such a way of life has been adopted by Basil such a young age that it doesn't play large effect on her much anymore. If travelling out from her secluded home and visiting the public is a necessity to her, she always dawns a hood over her head to hide what many judge her for. Contrary to many rumors and myths, Basil isn't necessarily violent or aggressive towards those who stumble across her - unless her safety is put at risk. She is usually quite assertively territorial, but is never known to attack unless she perceives a threat. Very rarely can someone get to know Basil very well due to her reluctance towards interaction and refusal towards visitors. Basil's trust can only be earned if she notices the individual in question is kindhearted and has little or no intent to threaten her safety - people such as Frost for example. She is also more willing to interact with those who appear completely incapable of posing any threat to her, and/or those who are injured. While typically minding to herself, Basil will aid a harmed passerby - both to not choke on guilt, but also to possibly build herself a reputation. Even towards those who have earned her trust, Basil often is quite apathetic, sarcastic, and generally sassy inside of a social environment. She is also often way too true and literal, even if it’s something that wouldn’t be helpful in conversation. She isn’t mean by nature, she’s just extremely socially awkward due to her treatment. ___________________________________________ Wisp's large and dragon-like appearance often intimidates many, leaving the assumption that he's a large, powerful, brutish individual - one that poses a large threat to other's safety. Because of this overlaying assumption, Wisp is often avoided. He's certainly in a more favorable situation than Basil, but still not a great one in general. In reality, Wisp is very far from being unreasonably threatening. He is easily described as a gentle giant, often being very welcoming and treating those he comes across kindly and politely - he's generally just a chill dude, though he tends to get quite lonely at times, which deeply plays a factor towards him reaching burnouts. Most assumptions about Wisp generally come from a lack of knowledge - after all, he scarcely is present in places with others, both due to the fact Wisp is aware his presence makes others intimidated, but also the fact that he lives very far away and finds little need to travel to populated areas, unless absolutely necessary. Outside of being feared by some, Wisp has more problems that are present in his life. He possesses a weak fire element for a dragon and often enters stages of both physical (and often mental) burnout - he refers to such as being "extinguished." To lift himself out of such a troubling time, both physically and mentally, Wisp tries to find a way to reignite his internal flame. While such is aided strongly by positive interaction, rest, or anything that can really get him "fired up," often Wisp finds himself smoking to reignite his internal flame, which helps, but only slightly. He finds it to be his quickest and easiest option, as he has little people to go to for the latter, and doesn't wish to cause any unnecessary stress for others - no matter what. Wisp is largely aware of the dangers of this habit, and would strongly advise against it - outside of his own situation, and the fact he's a dragon. While Wisp is practically almost always seen in his "Extinguished form," he's not always in a burnout-heavy mood. His personality traits as earlier mentioned are still present, but just diminish the longer he stays burnt out for. Thankfully, Wisp does have some consistent connections with others. Most notably, he happened to form a close bond with Basil after meeting her during one of her lowest moments in her life some time back. While reluctant at first, Basil eventually complied with Wisp's offered assistance, and eventually fully recovered from her low point. The two have been very close friends since, even if the two don't often don't cross paths.
Song: Nerves (instrumental) - Hazy River FNF mod (I think Atsuover made the song?) Art: @brucero2026 (honestly this much is stating the obvious I might stop including self credit for art) Wisp is inspired from Garcello - one of Atsuover's characters, and that one guy from the FNF mod a long time ago...you know who. His design is also loosely based off of Reshiram from Pokemon. Basil on the other hand isn't inspired by any of Atsuover's characters, but a random image I stumbled across on a site a while back (can't find it again) - basically she's sort of a false medusa subspecies...I guess. Oh yeah - Wisp is technically a kinda new character. He was planned to be made months ago but never received official design. I guess here it is? he does have a second form though...so that's gonna need a ref...............AFTER THE REST ARE DONE.
