I’ve decided to leave scratch completely on 9th September, like sign out and never sign back in again, here are some reasons: Screen time: I’ve been on a screen way too much recently, staying up until around 11 and waking up at 6 and its making me feel more angry and tired during the day and this cycle just repeats itself over and over until i become exhausted. Enjoyablility: I joined scratch because it was fun and i liked it but I’ve recently been feeling I HAVE to do this even if I don’t want to, it’s a part of a routine. It has become too much of a competition; popularity, followers and its sort of messing with my head. Activities: I’ve been relentless to go to activities because of scratch and I’ve just realised id much rather be outside, playing with my brothers, gardening with my grandparents, birdwatching, running with my parents, creating, animating, sewing and learning this card game called elestrals my brothers are obsessed with. School: School is naturally pretty hard for me but as i keep doing scratch it gets harder and harder. It’s hard to do my homework, hard to not doodle in class (I don’t think scratch has anything to do with that tho) and I’ve ended my school year not knowing a lot of stuff i should :| Other stuff: People on scratch are nice but I just feel something, im not sure what it is, i guess i like talking to people but id rather be playing with my friends irl. I was feeling this on my old account so i made this one to have a fresh start, i guess scratch is just scratch :) So yeah i guess that’s all ~onyx P.S. i really will miss scratch and all you guys who have taking the time to read this <3
