I didn't really care where we were going. All I cared about was the chance that I didn't have to stay at the Dursley's. As we flew over open moors, I saw a sign that read: Ottery St Catchpole I assumed that's where we were going. I'm not sure how much air time we had, but when we landed, Fred and George ushered me and Harry in the back door. "Here, help yourselves." Ron said, showing us a plate of biscuits. I grabbed one and began to eat it. I looked around, there was an odd looking clock. There were arrows on it, each with a name. There were Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny. "Where have you boys been?!" I looked up, and quickly hid the biscuit behind my back. There was a plump, orange haired woman standing there. She had a furious look on her face. "Beds empty and not a single word of farewell." She turned to my brother. "I'm not mad at you, Harry, dear, and who's this?" She turned to me. "I'm Henry Potter." I said. "Nice to meet you Henry, I'm Mrs. Weasley, Ron's mum here." She said. I nodded. Mrs. Weasley seemed sweet, but also a bit intimidating. I was listening to Mrs. Weasley scolding her sons', when I heard footsteps on the staircase. I turned around and saw a pretty red-haired girl. "Mum! Have you seen my jumper-?" She stopped and stared at Harry and I. "No, Ginny check upstairs in your closet." Mrs. Weasley said. I watched as she whipped around and sped back upstairs. "She's been going on and on about you Harry, all summer!" I heard Ron whisper to Harry. I scowled in annoyance. I pulled out a chair from under the table and sat down. As I was twiddling with my fingers and thinking my own thoughts, I heard footsteps again. I looked up and saw another boy with orange curly hair and wore horn-rimmed spectacles. "Ah, I see my brothers finally got caught in the act." He smirked. "Oh, hello Harry, and who are you?" He turned to me. "Percy, this is Henry." Mrs. Weasley said. "Well, hello Henry, nice to meet you." Percy reached his hand out. I took it and we shook hands. Soon Mrs. Weasley prepared what she called a 'proper breakfast'. Eggs, bacon, that sort. It was one of the best meals I'd had in a long time. At the table there was an empty seat down the table from me, I was on the end. Next to the empty seat on both sides was Mrs. Weasley and Harry. Next to Harry was Fred and George. Across from them was Percy, and the girl from before who was named Ginny. All of the sudden there was a thud on the window, and the doorknob moved as keys were jingling to open the lock. The door opened and a man with round spectacles and red hair came inside. "That was Harold." He said, doubling back to get the owl. When he'd come back he laid the owl on the table and took off seven letters off his leg. The letters were passed counter clockwise down the table. I didn't shuffle through the letters because I never get mail, but Mrs. Weasley held up a letter and said: "Henry, you got your letter to Hogwarts!" "What?" I said, almost choking on pumpkin juice. My letter was passed back down the table. I ripped open the envelope and read the letter: Headmaster: Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore, Order of Merlin, First-Class Dear Mr. Potter, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find an enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl not later than July 31. Yours Sincerely, Minerva McGonagall Deputy Headmistress I was amazed. For once I got something that my brother got that was actually exciting.
