And his favorite time to play around is summer especially ||Char had always been a fast cat. From the moment he was born, his quickness was obvious. His mother’s labor was short, the delivery nearly effortless. His father had been a warrior. He never did (code word 1 is Rainbow) anything particularly remarkable to draw attention, but he was steady and loyal. Charkit never really got the chance to know him. One day, his father left for a hunt and never came back. As Charkit grew, his mother began mentoring him. She had once been a warrior herself, though she turned to mentoring after having her first kit, something she once believed would never happen. Charpaw was a quick learner. He absorbed everything she taught him and remembered it well. He was only about a moon away from receiving his warrior name when everything changed. During a training session, a cat from a rival clan attacked them. His mother told him to run and alert the clan. He ran as fast as he could, paws flying across the forest floor, heart pounding with panic. But even though he had always been fast, this time, it wasn’t enough. By the time he reached the camp, it was already too late. The warriors sent to investigate found no sign of the two cats who had been fighting. A week later, Charpaw became Chartail. There was no ceremony filled with joy or celebration, just a quiet moment of naming. He felt a responsibility settle onto his shoulders, a weight he wasn’t sure he could carry. His mother had named him Char because his tail resembled the spotted tail of a Char fish. Now he wore the name with pride, holding on to the memory of her strength. Chartail tried to be kind, to build a name others could trust. He even began mentoring, hoping to walk the same path his mother once did. It was his way of honoring her, of continuing what she had started. The darker colored cat in his 2moons old drawing is his mother.
