TW: mentions blood, drug use, & psychological themes. Welcome everyone to Crowmask! A dark story about a rogue Russian experiment with super-human abilities. --------------------------------LORE-------------------------------- In a fractured system buried beneath the ruins of a forgotten Russian facility, something glitched—and something woke up. Crowmask, once an experiment erased from records and with no memory of their past, escaped containment when a conflicted scientist named Dr. Elena Zakharova sabotaged her own creation out of guilt and empathy. Now rogue and unpredictable, Crowmask roams a dying digital world caught between simulation and reality, hunted by Silversight: a pristine, emotionless counterpart still loyal to the system. Meanwhile, Nico Volkov—an outsider with no powers, no clearance, and far too much curiosity—gets caught in the crossfire after uncovering the glitch. As he becomes entangled with Crowmask, questions surface: Why was this system built? Why was Crowmask erased? And why does Nico feel like he's connected to it all—more than he should be? The deeper he digs, the more he learns that monsters aren’t always the ones in masks… and sometimes, what breaks the system is the only thing worth saving. -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Even though in the story, some characters are the protagonists and antagonists, that doesn't mean they are good or evil. For example, Crowmask is a murder-machine, and they're the protagonist! MAIN PROTAGONIST: Crowmask PROTAGONIST: Nico Volkov SIDE PROTAGONIST: Dr. Elena Zakharova ANTAGONIST: Silversight ANTAGONIST: Dr. Elric Halvren & more that may be coming out the pipeline! Like $цвjєcт 0. A bit more lore: Silversight and Crowmask were made in the same lab, Nico is nicotine-addicted, and Crowmask is crazy and has a reflection that is kind of like Crowmask before they put the mask on (when they turned into a murder machine), visible to only Crowmask in glass, water, or blood puddles, and believe me; Crowmask has seen LOOOOOOOOTS of blood puddles. The reflection talks to them and tries to tempt them. Elric has all of those scars because he fought Crowmask. Elric is obssesed with catching Crowmask because he himself put the mask on and may-or-may-have-not murdered his entire family because of the mask. And if you're complaining that they have round heads, I suck at Bitmap, so... yeah. The songs are Those where the days by Mary Hopkin, and Godhome (Hollow Knight: Gods & Nightmares) by Christopher Larkin.
