The Deepsinger is a larger, distant relative of the sand scarab, at 20 feet, or 6.1 meters. It has 3, long limbs that it uses to walk (and sometimes gallop) along the sea floor. Similar to the parasaurolophus, it's unique crest has a resonating chamber, allowing it to make long distance calls. It's stripes aren't just stripes however, as there are chromatophores embedded within the exoskeleton in those regions, allowing them to communicate with their herd. Each herd is led by a matriarch and her mate, these are distinguished by their 4th stripe being constantly white. The mouth(s) of this creature is similar to that of cownose rays on earth, being split into two mouths.
