No, this isn't a sad project. I'm not leaving, but this is important to read regarding the future of this channel, in a good way. So, as some of you may know, I am currently writing a novel called "Lost Uprising," and for those of you who were here back in the early times of this account, the two main protagonists were Hoaki and Jasmine. However, I started to brainstorm a bit more, and the idea came up to gender swap the two characters, making Hiyana and Jesse, and I thought it was a pretty good idea, considering that lightning girls are underrated. However, as time passed by, part of me was still struggling to pick between the two versions, since I loved both of them for different reasons. However, as I continued developing my story, I came up with a genius idea that would allow me to keep both versions with consistency. So, this is how it's gonna work: Hoaki and Jasmine will be the versions that are directly connected to the novel/allegory alone. They will be the ones featured in my stories that tie to Lost Uprising. The reason for this is because I decided to transform my novel into an allegory, which would much more powerful with Hoaki and Jasmine, especially with the way Hoaki will change throughout the novel. I will also separate them by drawing them on traditional papers, since the rough grittiness matches the more serious tone of the novel, and it's also a lot easier to draw more dynamic poses on paper too. As for Hiyana and Jesse, they will be ones that collab with @jobicodes and @DarkLink908 in the Past, Present, and Future stories. These two would connect much better with the characters from the two artists, since the dynamics that they share match better with Hiyana and Jesse than Hoaki and Jasmine, and since the reason why I did Hiyana and Jesse was solely for fictional purposes. I will also separate Hiyana and Jesse by drawing them on Scratch's vector, since the smoothness matches the more wholesome tone of the three duos. Of course, there will be a few exceptions between the two art styles, but that will be the main technique I will do with these two.
