Since I'm a big history nerd and willing to look up obscure facts on Wikipedia, I helped Dusk update Auriola's design to be more accurate. I used some 19th century paintings depicting the Sicilian Vespers period (a little after the period we're shooting for but that's ok) and some more era relevant material to come up with this design. Auriola's original design made her look more greek and had a lot of angel symbolism that was kind of there for no reason. She also had a corset, which hadn't been invented yet? Ceralyne, who is also covered in this project, had a Fench maid's outfit from the 19th century before we got together to redesign her. I think that the more historically accurate designs help tell Auriola and Ceralyne's story a little better.
