System Surge is a difficult action roguelike themed around fighting malware (malicious software) inside a computer. This is basically the same as V0.9.7 / V1.0.0 (an older version of System Surge This was made to be entered into a national game development competition, so that is why I hadn’t shared this sooner. THE ORIGINAL WAS MADE BY RAMPLODETHRUMBLEHORN!! if you are playing a remix, just go play the original unless it has meaningful changes :) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1173672319/ ________________________________________ Controls: WASD or arrow keys to move Left Mouse Button or R to attack (key can be held down) F to use ranged weapon Space to dodge-roll E to use battery (healing) Projectiles can be parried by hitting them with a melee weapon Head to the door after clearing a wave Click on a card to select an upgrade P to pause And there's a new enemy type because why not Just to clear up confusion, the enemies are: -The red/orange bugs are computer bugs (a bug is a malfunction of a computer system) -The blue spiky balls are viruses (a virus is a type of malware that replicates itself by embedding itself inside a file then replicating when that file is opened) -The grey snake-like enemies are worms (a worm is a type of malware that can replicate without human interaction) -The large grey enemies that shoots turrets at you are DDoS Attacks (DDoS attacks (distributed denial of service) are a type of cyber attack in which a hacker floods the target device or network with a huge wave of requests via bots. The aim is to disrupt or shut down the target by overwhelming it.) -The large grey enemies that jump and slam are Brute Force Attacks (Brute force attacks are a type of hacking method where the hacker tries every combination of password to crack it either manual or automated) Thanks for reading it if you did!
(This isn't supposed to be played on mobile, I'll add touch controls eventually) Turbowarp link (runs smoother) https://turbowarp.org/1144269624/?interpolate&hqpen&clones=Infinity Inspired by games like Enter the Gungeon and Ultrakill After being reminded of Minecraft Dungeons' existence, I've also taken inspiration from it just tags down here :/ Oh hello there, you actually looked all the way through the tags!
