Sorry for being inactive in rp lately, but i recently watched that dutch cartoon Madrid likes, and i swear to whatever god you believe in........ The character "Maya" was like looking straight into a mirror(except for the weird anime and being rude to orphans part) Which has caused me to really rethink my life and how i got to this point of unsociability. In the past couple of months into the war, panic has gripped the PRC. With several party officials packing their bags and fleeing the country. Local revolts were becoming widespread, what was left of the economy is in shambles from the blockades and Dominion takeover of the Suez canal, and invasion from Mongolia and Republican forces in the south are decimating PRC forces, along with the threat of a looming Japanese invasion........ China came out of WW3 and the Combine invasion as the global hegemon, with its flavor of Communism seen throughout the solar system....... But as newer generations took control of the ship, they slowly steered away from the PRC's founding values and institutions, and in a way...... China became infected with a similar sickness that killed the USA a century before, and the Romans 2 thousand years ago........ Until the communist became the conservative order, desperately fighting to keep the flame of their revolution safe from the flame of the next one........ Many older die-hard communist warned of this, including a retired WW3 hero who has recently been selected into a high ranking party position.(still coming up with his name......) He has long been against the liberal reforms that have been put in place, against the corruption of party officials worrying more about their pockets then China's future. He longed for a return to the "glory days" of Mao and winnie the pooh, and has taken advantage of the situation........ As Dominion Star-ships raided the capital of Qingdao(dropping into the Chinese communist's party's own H.Q, a surviving piece of the first nuclear missile fired at the US.......) panic swept throughout the city, government leaders and party officials stuffed their pockets and fled. Leaving none to oppose what came next...... The old general declared himself the Supreme Commander of China, installing a military dictatorship....... He quickly imposed Maoist and Stalinist style authority, purging potential rivals, and executing the families of anyone suspected of being a rebel. Enforcing strict weapon control, censorship, and curfews at night. Martial law is declared throughout all of China, Effectively shooting down the possibility of further revolts....... Industry is being moved underground to stay away from increasing Dominion orbital bombardment, as the country prepares for a long-long war of attrition....... A great Patriotic wave has smashed through the land, as millions join the once mighty People's Liberation Army, for a mixture of reasons. From promise of better pay and welfare for the family(after suffering from declining economy for decades) to Nationalist/ideological reasons, to getting revenge for past defeats and humiliation, to survival....... After watching videos of the horrors the Dominion is doing to Chinese forces in America online...... The transfer to a wartime economy has revived the Chinese economy, as the gears and fire of industry burn and run again...... On the Geopolitical front, China's new government has declared almost all its enemies "rebels" and refuses to even recognize their existence. Calling on all communist states globally to help them put down these dangerous neo-liberal and outright horrific new ideologies(like the Dominion.....) rebellions against the Global Communist Order. The New Chinese Government is also desperate to ensure Japanese neutrality, but his preparing a large force on the border and has coastal ports on high-alert in case the worst happens...... "Hundreds of years after the first shots were fired, and the Children of China still fight the same civil war...." - after reviewing the black council's historical records on the continuation of the Chinese civil war - During my "Home- -sick" nightmare.
On the actual military side of things: Out of desperation, the new dictatorship would send waves after waves of a total of several million men to DELAY the Mongolian and ROC advances, sending thousands of new recruits to certain death....... All just to buy time for the main army of properly trained and equipped veterans to set up WW1 style elastic defenses in more easily defendable areas. By the time Mongolian forces terminated the diversion, they(already exhausted from the constant waves) were met with a wall of layers and layers of trenches, bunkers, laser beam posts, machine gun posts, and a rain of artillery and rockets. Eventually forcing Mongolian forces to do the same and dig their own trenches....... Creating a WW1 style stalemate...... The Mongolian use of underground tunnels has only reopened a often forgotten front of warfare...... As both Chinese and Mongolian forces dig to place explosives or outright attack from below the enemy, but also having to defend themselves from enemy tunnels....... Thus creating a arms race, similar to the evolution of aircraft. Just as the use of aircraft eventually led to the creation of bombers to bomb, fighters to escort and stop bombers and protect their own bombers, specialized tunneling units are being created. Some with the goal of blowing up or attacking the enemy, with others specifically for protecting the main tunnels from attack while also attacking other tunnels...... Brutal street fighting in the coastal cities can be seen, but the undersupplied and disorganized rebels are being slowly driven into a corner by the revived Chinese War machine. The new government would launch a quit takeover of Tibet, meeting little resistance due to its more peaceful ant anti violent nature. The PLA would seize roads throughout the state, and secure a hold on Tibet's border with the ROC. Launching a surprise invasion from behind the front, while also having PLA forces slowly retreat to draw ROC forces away from the Tibetan frontier. Pulling a Belgium on the "rebels"..... The rebels in the west would begin to fall, as PLA tanks and planes roll over the underpopulated region, but also facing increasing geurilla resistance in the mountains. The new Chinese Government has also been encouraging its own citizens to wage geurilla war, just as they had in WW2 and the civil war. But as for America...... The situation is dire, as Dominion space superiority has effectively cut of the Chinese holdings from the continent. The government before the general took over originally planned to sacrifice the People's Republic of America to buy time for them to evacuate the continent, but now that is not an option...... And the new dictator refuses to give just one concession to the "rebels"....... The American revolts are brutally suppressed, and all citizens of none Chinese decent are forced into interment camps in the PRA, and giving their homes to Chinese settlers(over the century, and entire new culture has been created as a result of these policies....) He then ordered a small force to delay the Alaskans, but the majority of PLA forces in America are ordered to hold back the Dominion........ Seeing them as a far greater threat, for they threaten to exterminate all none-mutated lifeforms west of the Rockies and "terraform" the land into a nuclear hellscape like the rest of the Dominion...... The People's Republic of America has put up a desperate delaying action, until Chinese help arrives. Scraping up as much force as it can muster. 7 Million soldiers(from both sides) are being mobilized to the PRA's capital city of Salt Lake, preparing for what will become north America's bloodiest battle........
