Well, here ya go! A rating system for RTFR and AToTC! :D Click, space, WASD or arrow keys to move :) Resisting The Far Realms: Overall Class: 2. It said 1, but 2 seems more appropriate to me. Overall, I wouldn't say that it's lighthearted, but it's not like a horror story or anything like that. There's a lot of v1olence, including character d3ath (although mainly it's non-main characters). Imagery Class: Idoneus. Why? RTFR is a written story, so you can't expect much horror from some blocks of text... Unless you don't like reading 15-page projects. Dialogue Class: EDIT 9.5.2025: Changed it to "Alert" due to frequent mentions of v1olence, k1lling and the like. The below still applies, though. Notice. While there's no sw3aring in RTFR, there's definitely more than a bit of v1olence. No more than actual D&D though lol- (Canis' Backstory, if I make it, might actually have some "benign sw3aring" in it. Don't blame me, Canis is the kind of character to sw3ar at least once every chapter. Considering that basically every few chapters the group gets into a life-or-d3ath situation, it's pretty warranted. Especially because about 3-5 chapters are all in a single day) Audio Class: Safe. All the music is the same, and I've only used 3 other songs, other than the main one, which is instrumental, and they're all pretty low-key. Maybe a bit loud, but completely appropriate. Implication Class: Dubium. I don't personally push opinions about various topics in my story, and the most RTFR includes is v1olence, k1lling and depression (not very obvious to clarify; also, this is just in RTFR's planned sequel). Hey, D&D is literally a dungeon crawl/roleplay/fighting game, you have to expect at *least* a bit of bl00dshed. A Tale of Two Cyans: Overall Class: 2. Among Us is a pretty v1olent game, at least in character PoV. It's a murd3r mystery game where you're trying to find the alien Imposter(s) who are trying to k1ll the entire Crew. In my story, at least one Imposter is allied with the Crewmates (humans), including one of the main characters in the main story and in various side stories, but at least one Imposter per ship is trying to murd3r the entire Crew. Imagery Class: Viderat. AToTC is *also* a written story, but unlike RTFR, I can draw Crewmates/Imposters, so I have a bit of art. Mainly it's just a tad creepy (I mean, not THAT creepy, but still). Dialogue Class: EDIT 9.5.2025: Changed it to "Alert" due to the same reasons as above, but the below still applies. Notice. AToTC has a lot of v1olence/k1lling, as much or possibly more than RTFR. Audio Class: Safe. The music isn't even that loud, and I only use two main songs. I've used one other song, once, and probably won't again, that if it were to be used every episode would probably boost this up to Fine, but it's only ever used once :P Implication Class: Dubium. This is basically for the same reasons as in RTFR's (v1olence and k1lling), but there's also some morally questionable, or just questionable, decisions that characters make (for example, in an AToTC side story, there's a Crewmate who allies with the Imposters and their job to eliminate the rest of the Crew, and she does actually k1ll a few. Fortunately she does make up for her mistakes, but for most of it she's kinda an antihero). So yeah! That's it for now, enjoy! :D If there's anything else you'd like me to answer in the descriptions, just let me know! :D Also, I just want to add that you might want to keep in mind that I have a fairly high tolerance threshold for v1olence and similar things, so this may not be 100% accurate. Mainly for Dialogue probably, since it's a written story, but possibly also Implication. If anyone wants to do this themself and rate it, I wouldn't object :) But overall, RTFR and AToTC are probably 2s or 3s. EDIT 9.5.2025: I *did* mess with the Dialogue score a bit so it's more accurate :) (popped them both up to Alert)
The PCS was made by @InkTheCoder! Original project here! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1191912341/ Resisting The Far Realms and A Tale of Two Cyans belongs to me, @Spectre-5, although Dungeons & Dragons was made by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson and Among Us was made by Innersloth! :D (quick note about RTFR; I'm going to redo the first chapter and maybe rename the "prologue", in addition to changing some of the text in later chapters. The story, of course, will stay the same. I really messed up describing Laskara in Ch. 1 lol-)
