Acantha Kirk is a teenage assassin for a forbidden society known as the Raven’s Feather. By orders of her commander, Calandra Snow, she has a mission to infiltrate the royal palace as a false guard to assassinate King Alroy’s teenage daughter — Princess Rosa. As Acantha “Guards” the princess, she unintentionally finds out that Rosa is kind and brave and clever. Acantha starts doubting her commander’s true intentions and morals.
