I finally put a DC motor in 60in 18° blade pitch in this thing. I put a 168x30DC motor it doesn't twitch a lot which is good, so it doesn't mess around it gets to speed quickly. I love this fan with the DC motor, it does about 160 rpm, and airflow is about 9854CFM Now the dc motor is a custom made stack dc motor not what you expected you would think a stack motor is only ac but this is a dc stack motor it is massive and has high horsepower for steep pitch blades and wide and heavy so this motor is more powerful and efficient than a fanimation big island motor which is a 165L DC spinner motor and it is more efficient and faster What do ya think? :)
