My entry for @tea_bubbles- 650+ DMC congrats!! I love her character so much :> I actually really like how this turned out so I hope u do too!! _____ Time taken ⌦ 8 hrs, 43 mins ⌦ 7494 strokes? idk if it counts undo Program ⌦ Procreate, best purchase of my life _____ ☆ A R T P R O C E S S ☆ ⌦ 1. References: I thought that girl matched the sassy/playful vibe Kesha had and those sharks were just freaking adorable also trying to add more expression in my art, why are so many refs blank faced?? ⌦ 2. Messy sketch, always the best part because it's super loose. Kind of soulless eyes tho ⌦ 3. Lineart. I've been trying to use it less but it has so much structure ⌦ 4. trust ⌦ 5. So glad i added dark lashes. Upped the saturation, added light and neck shading. Neck shading is actually so hard respect to people who can actually do full bodies ⌦ 6. Hairrrrrrr also i forgot the clips. Shaded the eyes and sharp teeth for fun ⌦ 7. Clothes, fin, made the hair match the setting more. Finally coming together <333 fin kept messing with composition tho ⌦ 8. I love those sharks. If you want the ref on pin just search shark doodle it's like the first one ☆☆☆ 9 + 10. Final pieces! I can't decide which bg is better so take both gorgeous ;))))) sorry i'll stop k that's it hope you liked it!! also pls don't judge the intro i actually suck at coding. i was actually lucky the timing happened to line up with the song?? #dmce #art #shark #process #semirealism #itsnotanimedadomg fun fact I was working on a completely different draft for like 14 hours before this but I hated the rendering so much I redid it like 4 times before just starting with a new sketch
